"Aaand action." Says a camera man.
"Welcome back everybody. We still have Harper here and I have something for you." Says Ellen.
She turns to me.
"Can you tell us about your audition for the xfactor?" Asks Ellen.
"Well. I went with Lily and my grandparents and my aunt Rachel who is in the audience." I say.
Rachel waves and I wave back.
"I would have taken my mum, but she died just before me and Nathan got together." I say.
I wipe my tears again.
"I was going to sing I won't give up, but I ended up singing fight song. After the critiques and votes, I went off stage, but was told to go back on. Rita had a letter for me. It was from Nathan. I wish I could re live that moment every day." I say.
"Well. Harper. You are about to re live that moment." Says Ellen.
"What?" I say as my face drops.
"Haper. Your husband has been found." Says Ellen.
I freeze.
"And we've kept him in the studio all day to surprise you." Says Ellen.
I shake my head in disbelief.
"Nathan. Come on out." Says Ellen.
I turn around and Nathan is walking. I must be dreaming. I pinch myself and I feel the pain which means I'm not dreaming. Lily gets off the sofa nd runs towards Nathan.
"Daddy!" She screams.
Nathan bends down and wraps his arms around her. I half run, since I'm in heels, and bend down. I'm crying heavily and I can't believe this is happening.
"I've missed you so much." I say.
"I've missed you to." Says Nathan.
We kiss and then go back to the sofa.
"Ellen. Thank you so much for this. I really can't express how happy I am. Thanks to you, I have been reunited with the man I am proud to call my husband. You are one of my idols. You are a life changer and I am so glad I wrote to you. Thank you ever so much." I say.
"You're welcome." Says Ellen.
I look at her and then the audience. Quite a few people are wiping tears and that makes me cry even more. The show ends and we go back stage.
"I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry I left you." Says Nathan.
"Please. Don't scare me like that again." I say.
"I have been allowed 6 months off." I get to spend time with you. Be there for Lily's birthday. I will come back for our 3rd wedding anniversary. I will come back for Christmas." Says Nathan.
We find Rachel again and then we are given some things from the Ellen shop for free. We leave the studio soon after and go back to a hotel.
"Nathan. Can I talk to you?" I ask.
"Sure." Says Nathan.
We stand on the balcony whilst Lily plays in the room.
"What's up?" Asks Nathan.
"This is going to sound desperate, but I want another baby. Lily is nearly two. I really want another baby." I say.
"You do?" Asks Nathan.
"Yes. Shortly after Lily's first birthday, I felt that it was time. I was ready, just, you weren't." I say.
"Harper. If you spoke
to me, I would have said yes if you want a baby, then I will give you one." Says Nathan.
"When do you want to start trying?" I ask.
"Well. Maybe when we go back home, we can ask Dion to watch Lily and see where things go?" Says Nathan.
"Ok." I say.
We begin to kiss, then go inside. Lily is asleep on the floor. I take a picture and then go into the bathroom. I start to run a shower. I get in and then the door clicks open. The shower curtain moves and Nathan climbs in.
"Or we could try now?" Nathan whispers in my ear.
"What about Lily?" I say turning round to face him.
"She's passed out. She'll sleep through till the morning." Says Nathan.
He starts to kiss my neck be for I can reply. I moan a bit and then he brings his lips back to mine. Things get a little heated and you know what happens next. After that, we get out the showers and get into bed. Lily is in her travel cot so Nathan and I have enough room. We lay, tangled in each others limbs and then we go to sleep.
"Round two?" Asks Nathan.
"You did not just wake me up at 3:30 am to ask me if I want to have sex with you?" I say annoyed.
"Come on." Says Nathan.
"Lily is about 10 feet away. It was bad enough of us doing it in the shower. She is sure to wake up if we do it now." I say.
"Well. I guess we will have to keep our voices down then." Says Nathan.
"Please Nathan. We only have 3 more days left in America. I want to make the most of it." I say.
"Ok. I love you." Says Nathan.
"I love you to." I say.
We go back to sleep soon after. When I wake up, Nathan is in the shower and Lily is in bed next to me. Someone knocks in the door. Must be room service.
"Hello." Says the man.
He look a familiar. He's American, obviously.
"Hi. Do I know you?" I ask.
"Yes. You fell for me 2 years ago." Says the man.
Oh my God.
"Jaylen." I say.
"Yes." Says Jaylen.
"What are you- how did you find me?" I say with my voice getting louder with every word.
"That doesn't matter. All that matter is that we are together." Says Jaylen.
He pushes me in the room and up against the walk in wardrobe. He goes to kiss me, but I push him away.
"You need to leave." I say.
"I'm not leaving without you." Says Jaylen.
"My husband is in the shower." I say.
The shower stops running. I turn my head to the bathroom door, then to Jaylen.
"My husband is getting out of the shower. If you don't leave right now, you are going to end up in a hospital bed." I say.
"And why do you care what happens to me? Because you have feelings for me!" Asks Jaylen.
"You are messed up. Just leave me alone. Don't ever come near me again. Leave now." I say.
Jaylen starts to walk backwards with his hands up. The bathroom door clicks open before Jaylen leaves.
"What the hell is going on?" Asks Nathan.
"Remeber our honey moon." I ask.
"Yeah." Says Nathan.
"Well, that is the guy that was flirting with me. Jaylen." I say.
