We arrived at LAX around 40 minutes ago. We are now collecting our bags. I watch the kids whilst Nathan gets a trolley. Once we are loaded up, we head for the exit, and soon find our driver, but he's pushed to the floor and when I look at Nathan, it looks like steam is about to come out his ears.
"Nathan. If you make a scene, I'm getting back on the next plane to London." I say through gritted teeth.
Nathan lets go if the trolley and walks over to Jaylen, who is holding a sign saying 'I love you Harper' and he's got a huge bunch of flowers.
"I don't care how you found us, but you are going to leave right now. If you don't get out of my sight within the next 30 seconds, I will get security and have you arrested." Nathan says.
People start to stare. I get the twins to sit on the trolled and I go over to the driver who is now standing. He guides us to the car which will take us to the hotel, and Nathan quickly catches up with us.
"I told you he would show!" I say.
"Who was that mummy?" Lily asks.
"Nobody. He was nobody." I say.
I get the kids into the car and Nathan helps the driver with the bags. The drive to the hotel is about 15 minutes and the whole time, no one says a word. When we arrive, a staff member from the hotel helps the driver with the bags and they are taken to the front desk. Nathan takes Sophie, I put Charlie on my hips and take hold of Lily's hand. Nathan check us in and we go straight up to the room. We are here for a week, so I don't mind sharing a bed with Nathan and the twins. It's a king size after all. Lily has her own single bed next to ours.
"I'm tired mummy." Lily says as she runs her eyes.
"Nathan, sort out the twins. I'm putting Lily to bed." I say.
I get the suitcase with the kids clothes in it. I open the case and get out Lily's pyjamas. I help her change and then I tuck her in. Me and Nathan then get the twins ready and then ourselves.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you to." Nathan says.
My eye lids begin to get heavy, but then I feel really hot. I get out of bed and stand on the balcony. Nathan joins me and then we notice a man and a women on a sun bed down below. They look about 17. They jump into the pool and start making out. I feel uncomfortable so I go back inside.
"What's wrong?" Nathan asks.
"Do you think, that if we got together when we were teenagers, things would have been different?" I ask.
"Maybe, but we won't ever know. It's doesn't matter anyway. We are together now and we share three beautiful children." Nathan says.
"Remeber last time we were in America, we found out I was pregnant with the twins." I say.
"It was a good trip." Nathan says.
I get back into bed and fall asleep. I wake up to light streaming through the windows. I sit up and let my eyes adjust. I look at Lily and she's still sleeping, but the twins are wide awake.
"Where's daddy?" I ask.
They don't say anything. I get up and look in the bathroom and he's not there. I walk out and sit back on the bed and then the door opens.
"You're up." Nathan says.
"Only just woke up. Where did you go?" I ask.
"Down to the shop in the hotel. I got some sweets for the kids for later." Nathan says.
"Lily has been getting into dance moms, maybe I could take her down there. It's only about 20 minutes by taxi." I say.
I get my phone and go on Twitter. I write 'Here in Burbank to go on Ellen in a few days, wondering if I could being Lily down to ALDC LA?? You there girls? Maddie Ziegler, Mackenzie Ziegler, Nia Sioux, Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, JoJo Siwa' and then I tweet. I get out of bed and shower and when I get out, Lily is awake and my phone is pinging. I look at my notifications and all the girls retweeted and they are in. Abby is there too and so are the moms.
"Okay. Lily. I have a surprise for you." I say.
"Yeah?" She asks.
"You know dance moms, what you watch with mummy in her bed?" I ask her.
"Yeah?" She asks.
"Do you want to go and meet the girls, the moms and Abby?" I ask.
"Really?" She says with a huge smile forming.
"Yeah. Well go down once you got dressed and we have had breakfast." I say.
"Ok. Can I wear my tutu?" I ask.
"We didn't bring your tutu, but we have your bow like JoJo's." I say.
"Okay." She says.
"Will you be okay with the twins. I want to take them, but if they play up, I don't want Abby or the mum's or the girls getting agitated." I say.
"I'll be fine. There's a playground not far, I'll make sure they don't get bored." Nathan says.
"Thanks. I love you." I say.
"I love you to." Nathan says.
I bath Lily and then dress her. She's wearing a white cotton summer dress that has flowers on it with her white sandals and her baby pink bow in a high ponytail.
"You ready baby?" I ask Lily.
"Yeah." She says.
She looks so excited. I kiss the twins and Nathan goodbye and then we leave. I hail a taxi and then we are driven to ALDC LA.
"Who's gonna be there again?" Lily asks.
"All the dancers, Abby and the moms." I say.
"Will Abby shout?" Lily asks.
"No sweetheart." I say.
The rest of the ride is silent, but when we arrive, Lily can't stop jumping up and down. After paying the driver, I take Lily's hand and we walk into the building.
"Hey. I've come to see-" I start to say, but I'm cut off.
"Yes. Everyone is in studio A and the moms are upstairs. They aren't filming, so just go right in." The receptionist says.
I pick Lily up and then I'm directed to the room. The girls are facing the back corner so the only person who can see us is.... Abby Lee Miller. I smile and use hand signs to ask if we can come in. She discretely nods and we take our shoes of because of the flooring. We slowly sneak in and I put Lily down. She runs up and then the girls turn around.
"Harper!" They all squeal.
"Hi. I've missed you so much. Last time I visited, Kalani and JoJo weren't here, it's nice to meet you." I say.
"Abby Lee Miller, you're a big inspiration and since finding out you are coming back on Ellen, the girls are always talking about it." Abby says.
"I think you're an inspiration too." I say.
The girls hand signal for the moms to come down. They do so and I notice Lily is becoming shy.
"What's wrong baby?" I say as Icrouch down to her height.
"I want to dance with the girls." She says.
"Ok. I'll ask." I say.
I stand up and clear my throat.
"Lily has always loved dancing and asked if she can dance with the girls? Maybe they could teach her basic steps?" I ask.
"Sure. We aren't going to a completion as it got cancelled and there is nowhere else." Abby says.
Abby asks Mellisa to take me to the Abby Lee Dance Company shop where I purchase an outfit for her as a gift and for her dancing.
