One month later

"Where have you been? Dee's been in a Coma, she might die and you haven't even visited her once!" Deme yelled at Mahayma and Terri. "Why are you shouting at me,Tyrese and I was trying to track down who shot Dee, we haven't had a lot of luck though." Mahayma sighed. "Terri, what's your excuse? " Mahayma spat. Terri shrugged. "I don't like hospitals."

Deme hadn't left Dee's side since she was hospitalized, Reece was moved in to the room next to her so he would come in to her room, despite the nurses telling him not to. "Hey baby." Reece kissed Dee's forehead."I need you to wake up, I miss your smile, your cheeky ways. I miss your voice, Dee, I miss your hugs. I want to hug you but I don't want to pull out your wires. They're discharging me tonight but I'm going to stay in your hospital room because Dee, I don't want to leave you and Dee don't you ever leave me. Please, wake up." Reece's tears streamed down his face, Deme rubbed his back before walking out of the room, sensing that he wanted to be alone. "Dee, wake up. I need you baby, I love you." Reece's voice was no more than a croak.

Mahayma walked in, she hugged Reece, she knew how upset he was because she felt the same way. Dee was her childhood friend, they grew up together, they matured together, they even got kicked out of school together. "Dee-Dee, please wake up, at least squeeze my hand, do something to show that you can hear us." Mahayma whispered in Dee's ear.

Dee
I could hear everything they were saying, I couldn't do anything but I could hear it all. I could hear the hurt in their voices. "Don't cry, I will do everything I can, she's a strong woman, she will survive. " I heard a man say. "Adrian, how are you so calm, that's your daughter laying there, she's hooked up to various machines-" "Don't you think I know that? The first time I met my daughter I saved her life, I haven't spoken to her, communicated with her and yes, it hurts. I want to speak to her, hear her laugh, see her smile but I might never get to." The man's voice broke at the end of his sentence. I could feel hot tears dripping down my face but I couldn't wipe them away. I need to wake up, I need to be strong, I need to see Reece.
