Deme was around the corner, she knew that Tyrell wouldn't make it home, she heard the sirens and she let out a sigh. "I love you baby." Deme whispered as she drove to Dee's house. Deme sped down the road, and didn't stop until she reached her destination

Deme parked the car and jumped out of the car, she ran up the door and unlocked it with the key Dee gave her.

"Yeah, Adrian, keep her safe do you understand? If anything happens to her I will personally end your life, I don't care if you're my father. That's your granddaughter, guard her with your life. You're ten minutes away? If she asks you anything about where I am don't tell her, if the police want to talk to her make sure you're with her the whole time." Dee looked up and saw Deme. "Do you understand? Okay, bye."Dee hung up and threw the phone on the sofa.

"You're talking to Adrian?" Deme smiled. "It's for Sammy, I know that we're going to be taking a trip to get questioned so I need to know she's safe." Dee had tears in her eyes. "I need to be here for her. I have to be." Dee walked in to Samara's room with Deme in tow.
Dee packed some clothes in a bag for Samara and smiled at Samara who laid asleep in her bed. "Dee, you won't actually, come to think of it, you can't go down for this. You didn't shoot anybody, you was making sure Samara never got hit, you never even let a bullet fly." Deme shrugged.

"But Shamaar could twist the truth, tell them something different-" "Then it would be the word of one man against five of us, six if they bring Sammy in." Deme reassured Dee. The doorbell rang. "Take this please." Dee handed Deme a bag of Samara's clothes, Dee tried to pick Samara up.

"Your pregnant, don't you dare try and pick her up!" Deme shouted, Samara woke up. "What's wrong mummy, where am I going?" Samara asked. "You're going to stay with your grandad for a day okay?" Deme smiled. "Why?" Samara frowned. "Because mummy and I are going away for a day." Deme said as Dee ran to the door.

"Mummy and I have to go speak to some people." Deme picked Samara up and walked her to the door.

"Okay Samara be a good girl!" Dee smiled and kissed Samara. "Look after my daughter." She nodded at Adrian. "I will." Dee started to shut the door. "Dee, I love you." Adrian smiled. "If you love me,keep my daughter safe." Dee shut the door.

"Now we need to talk strategies." Deme said as she sat on the sofa. "I'm all ears." Dee grinned. "Chances are it's going to be me and then you so I say we go out." Deme smirked. "What do you mean?" Dee asked. "Why?" Dee frowned. "Why not?" Deme smiled.

"So the story that we need to stick to is the one that we know Sammy will say." Deme yawned. "Which is?" Dee asked. "The truth." Deme winked. "Just leave out the fact that we killed them." Deme said. "How? They know you guys killed them!" Dee exclaimed. "Blame Shamaar, he brang us in to this so he should pay for it all." Deme grinned.

"I'm down with that." Dee laughed.
