Chapter 47

AUBREY POV

I woke up with Nic laying on my chest. She stirred a bit and opened her eyes.

"Morning." I whispered, kissing her forehead.

"Morning." she groaned. "What time is it?"

I checked my phone, "3:46"

"Damn." She sighed.

"What?"

"I cant go back to sleep nowww." She explained.

"Well, get up and Ill make you breakfast." I offered.

"No." She pouted.

"Come on Nic." I started to sit up.

"No, Im not letting go." She wrapped her arms around me.

I pried her off of me and stood up. She sat up and pouted with her arms folded tightly across her chest.

"I'm coming right back, relax babe." I coaxed.

She stuck out her tongue and giggled.

I leaned forward to kiss her forehead and she pulled me on top of her.

She wrapped her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck as we kissed. When she released me I kissed down her body before throwing something on to go downstairs.

Nicki POV

Almost immediately after Aubrey went downstairs I heard my phone go off.

It was a text from Lydia:

Hey are you up?

I shot her a text back:

Yeah, goodmorning.

L: OJ woke up looking for you

N: aww how is he? Sorry Ive been an inactive coparent lately...

L: dont worry youre fine hun. Hes getting better still a slight fever, he might have to stay home with Liyah again today.

N: hes awake now?

L: yeah

N: skype me

L: K.. Lemme grab my laptop

I rushed to throw on some clothes and turned my laptop on. As soon as it powered on Lydia's call came through. I answered.

"Morning!" Lydia waved. She had OJ laying on her chest.

"Good morning." I replied, "baby boy how are you feeling."

I sat his head up, I could tell he had just realized I was there. He smiled and got closer to the camera.

"Im still sick mommy." he replied.

"Mama says you might have to stay home with Aaliyah again. If you do I'll come bring you some soup for lunch." I explained.

"Promise?"

"I promise." I assured. "I want you to get all better, I don't like it when you're sick."

"Okay mommy." he smiled.

"I love you." I blew a kiss.

"I love you Mommy!!" he shouted.

"Shhh." i put my finger to my lip, "get some rest for Mommy okay? Its still early."

"Okay mommy." he whispered.

"See you later babyboy."

"See you at the office." Lydia added.

"Yeah I know Ima see you in like 3hours." I scrunched my nose.
