Jaeyoon

"Will you please just cook the food without dropping anything?" You say to Jaeyoon. He stands there laughing at your annoyed face before saying "Alright alright.". He grabs the wok and starts to cook the stir fry serving it the waiting customer. "You two are such an adorable couple" she says before walking away. You go to tell her that you two aren't a couple but it's no use as she disappears from your sight.
"Ouch Y/N I'm hurt that you don't want to date me" jaeyoon says holding a hand to his heart. You shake his head pushing him slightly before you go to sign off. He follows you and signs out too.

As the both of you walk down the street making it to your house, you both stop. He turns to you hugging you tightly as he whispers a goodbye. You stand there confused but hug him back saying bye. Watching as he leaves you can't help but feel as if something was wrong.

The next day you go in for your shift and don't see Jaeyoon. You ask your manager and they reply that he quit. Taking your phone out you text him:
Where are you?
I'm sorry Y/N. I'm moving cities so that I can make it in the music industry. But I want you to know that I love you and I always will. Bye..
Why didn't you tell me!? He doesn't reply back and so you text saying:
I love you too but still nothing.

Standing there shocked, you try to continue on with your day. Your hurt that he doesn't reply back. Days pass and you still hear nothing from him. You give up on calling him and texting him figuring that you can't waste your life trying to reach someone who doesn't want to be reached... how can he say he loves you and then turn his back on you.

You wake up early in the morning and get changed. Heading to the shop that you now own, you switch on the lights and turn the tv on. Starting to clean the tables and counters when your attention turns towards the tv at the name SF9. Smiling sadly as you see Jaeyoon on the screen you can't help but feel bittersweet about it. Shaking your head you go back to cleaning trying to block him out.

"Hey Jaeyoon! We are finally in your hometown!" Dawon says clapping Jaeyoons back. Jaeyoon smiles but doesn't say anything taking in his surroundings. Inseong waves his hand in front of Jaeyoons face saying "uhh hellooo anyone in there???". Jaeyoons shakes his head before nodding. "Well are you going to give us a tour?" Inseong says smiling. "Why of course" he replies back.

Taeyang walks towards Jaeyoon saying "food first? I'm starving". Chani follows him and says after "Why don't you show us where you use to work? Wasn't it a chicken shop or something?". Jaeyoon freezes thinking about you and how he left things but he thinks 'what are the chances that she will still be working there'. "Alright let's go, everyone follow the tour guide - Mr Jaeyoon" he says and the rest of the members laugh before following.

Hearing the door ring signaling a customer, you ask one of your workers to check while you finish off another customers order. You stop when you hear Jaeyoons voice speak "well guys! This is the place where I used to work". Quickly peeking out the kitchen door you see spot and duck back inside. You check the time and see that it's around 12. Deciding to take your break now, hoping that when you come back he will be gone. Before you go, you tell a worker.

SF9 sit round a table looking at the menu when a waitress comes to take their orders. Each member takes a turn saying what they want before Dawon says to the girl "so do we get a discount?". She stands there before shaking her head and Dawon continues on "our friend here pointing to Jaeyoon used to work here". Her face changes and she says "I'll have to check with my boss since she's been working here for ages - she even brought the place a few months back". Curious Jaeyoon asks "so who is the new owner?". The girl smiles as she says "Oh you might know her since she's been working here since she was a teen. Her names Y/N".

Jaeyoon drops his spoon and it clatters on the ground. Because you have the best timing - you decide to walk through the back door. It's quiet so you enter through the kitchen door. All eyes turn to you and you stop in your tracks. Whistling you attempt to walk back into the kitchen but your worker calls your name motioning you to come over. You sigh but make your way over.

"This is Y/N. Do you two know each other?" She says to everyone and turning to ask Jaeyoon. He goes to answer but you stop him saying "no sorry we've never met before". He looks hurt for a second but it dissapears. You feel guilty for a second but then remember when he left. "I better get back to the kitchen" you say turning back.

You hear a chair slide across the floor and then feel someone's hand on your arm. You turn around and aren't surprised to see that it's Jaeyoon. He grabs your hand and drags you out in the kitchen and out the back door leading to the alleyway.

You pull your hand out of his once you both stop. He turns to you and says "we need to talk... about what happened". "Oh you mean when you said you loved me and then show it by ignoring me? Are we talking about that?" You say angry. He rubs the back of his neck before saying "I'm sorry..". You sigh quickly giving up on being angry, "it doesn't matter anymore. I got to get going anyways" you say wanting to move on.

He blocks the door and grabs both your hands. "Y/N I still love you" he says rubbing his thumb against your knuckles. You feel the butterflies in your stomach before mumbling "you have a funny way of showing it". He smiles at you and says back "well I do like to be unique". You can't help yourself as you laugh at that and he smiles at you. All of a sudden he cups your face and kisses you. You gasp shocked and he pulls back smirking. You slap his stomach but smile too. "Go out with me?" He asks running his thumb against your cheek. You close your eyes before saying "Alright... but you better not ignore me again" pointing your finger at him. He nods and draws you in for another kiss as you happily kiss him back.
