Postcard 13: Wednesday

I woke up to the sound of thunder this morning.  No rain or lightening followed, and, by the time I got up, the clouds had cleared and the sun was shining again.

I'd just laid there, listening to it, not wanting it to go to waste.  It was strange.  That raw, organic sound, once it was gone, it was lost forever, if we didn't listen to it.  What caused it, the pressure of hot and cold air colliding, there was so much power in that, in something you couldn't even see.

The least I could do was listen.
