*Alexandrielle's POV*

The huge hall is filled with people as we make our way to the stage where the elders and some dominants stood.

Some dominants sneer at Mr. Harrison and Zach while some look at them like a god. I wonder why.

"Good evening everyone." Mr. Harrison's voice boomed as everyone became silent and all attention turned towards us. "We all gathered tonight for our own annual reunion. We are also here to celebrate our origin from our ancestor King Zarion Matthew Jake Brackenwall I for giving us power and strength to become what we are. We are also here to thank our Goddess Aleera for her guidance and protection over all of us." The last two statements have me feeling uneasy as if something will happen. But that could only be my imagination now, couldn't it?

"Now, for years we have welcomed more and more dominants who have been discovered. Either born, or just lost. For years we watch them grow, we watch them be what their nature demands. And tonight, someone rare has been discovered as we continue to look for our own blood." He extended his hand towards me and I felt a gentle squeeze in my hand before Zach let go. "Everyone, let me introduce you to another gift from the goddess. A dominant female of rare strength and beauty, our soon-to-be family...Ms. Alexandrielle Quinn Riley" Everyone peered over as I step closer to Mr. Harrison. As I stood in front, everyone erupted to cheers while most males eye me like a meat to devour. This is bad.

An angry roar from Zach has those males shaking with the intensity of it. Mr. Harrison gave him a stern look but he didn't notice it as he stomp his way in front.

"If anyone lays a hand on her, be sure to know who you're up against" he warned them all as some bowed in submission. Mr. Harrison pulled him back, whispering harshly in his ear in the process.

A certain old man caught my eye, he is looking at Zach in a sinister way like he just confirmed something. Same black raven hair, sharp dominant features with the same black obsidian eyes. He looks like an older version of Mr. Harrison-wait! Does that mean...he's Zach's grandpa? Their features are all the same. It's like the same person at a different age, all existed in the same time.

As if sensing my eyes at him, he caught my eye and gave me a smile. Not something friendly if I say so myself. It is like a silent message. My eyes narrow at him as an aggression grows within me. Something dark coiled around my mind as sinister voices filled it.

    Kill him...

    Kill him...

    Kill him...

    Kill-

"Come on, girly" Tyson tugged at my arm as he pulled me back as Mr. Harrison continued to introduce the other new dominants, which consisted of newborns or kids.

Zach stayed seething in a corner as he clench his hands into tight fists. Looking back to who I assume is his grandfather, I saw him talking to...that Anderson guy? What the hell? Why are they talking together? Aren't they in some sort of rivalry or something before?

All I can see is red that time as anger starts to boil inside me.

"Whoa there tiger, what's the heat?" Tyron asked lowly beside me as my heated glare remained at the two.

"Who is that old guy over there?" I asked as he followed my line of sight. He instantly became uncomfortable as he answered.

    "That's... Zach's grandfather" As I thought.

"And why is he talking with that Anderson guy? Aren't the Harrison's and them in a rivalry or something?" I asked as he clenched his fists.

"Probably planning something" he murmured darkly as he glanced at Zach.

Zach caught his eye and Tyron motioned our line of sight with his eye. Zach's brows furrowed before following and he immediately darkened when he saw them.

    "That traitor!"
