Stronger (Bakugou Katsuki)

He first sees it while walking by your room after you've just taken a shower.

You jump as he enters, already able to sense the sudden shift in the air; when you glance behind you, you note the dark look in his eyes. He had, of course, been upset with you for taking a blow for him. Did you think he was weak? That he couldn't take a hit? He had yelled and cursed but in the end, he had quieted down and been thankful that the injury wasn't serious.

But that scar represented his weakness, it was proof of the fact he couldn't protect himself or you. He had tossed and turned thinking about it every night since it happened, he'd blamed himself quietly even while trying to push the blame on you for your impulsive actions. You could tell him as much as you wanted it wasn't his fault but would never accept an answer like that. He was a hero, he was the one who was going to prove to the world he was the best, and he was going to be the one to keep you safe next time.

"I have to get stronger..." He mutters under his breath as he stares at the scar. "You'll never get another fuckin' one of those things again."
