She started off with confidence and immediately recoiled when she sees you, and loses every bit of confidence she had. The only thing that stops her from running with her tail between her legs is Kaminari, who had been annoyingly determined to get Jirou to finally ask you out. The scene is pretty confusing to you as Kaminari is behind Jirou with his hands on her shoulders, cementing her in place (and in the awkward moment) until she finally asks you out.
