Hi Mahal,

I know that you meant to write about our wedding yesterday, but you were so tired. Sa sobrang pagod mo, nang pangkuin kita papuntang kwarto, tulog ka na. Ang daya mo talaga. Hindi mo man lang naisip na ang tagal kong hinintay 'yong pagkakataon?

But you were so at peace that I didn't dare wake you up. Kinuntento ko na lang ang sarili ko sa panunuod sa 'yong matulog. At nang hindi ako makuntento, binihisan na rin kita at tinanggalan ng makeup at bobby pins sa ulo. Don't worry, I didn't do anything else because I didn't want to wake you.

Hindi pa rin ako makatulog kaya heto, sumulat ulit ako rito. Binasa ko uli 'yong ibang entries mo. Nakakatuwa kasi. Akalain mo nga namang patay na patay ka na pala sa 'kin dati pa pero hindi ka aware. Haha.

Nakangiti ka habang tulog. Does that mean that you're dreaming of me? Because I dream of you even when I'm awake.

A part of me wants to go back in time because I feel like I should've spent more time with you. Medyo selfish, I know. We still have a lifetime ahead of us and yet, I wanted more time than that. If possible, I'd go back even further. I want to be by your side the moment you were born and I'd spend every day with you until we get to this part. But I couldn't, and I'm still thankful for the many chances that I got with you.

Magbibyahe pa tayo mamaya papuntang Siargao. Mapapagod ka na naman. Hayyy.

I still have so many things that I want to tell you, pero kakaunti na lang ang pages. Baka magalit ka kapag nag-nobela ako rito. So, I'll just keep this short. The bed looks so inviting, anyway. Masarap pa namang matulog kapag kayakap ka.

I'll just put this on your bedside table para makita mo ito agad. I'll leave the pen on this page so that you'll see this letter first.
