Katies POV:
I am so excited. Today is finally the day! My bridesmaids and I are finally going shopping for their bridesmaid dresses. I already have my dress so today, we are going out shopping for their dresses and then going out to lunch. My bridesmaids are Annabeth, Lou Ellen, and Miranda as my maid of honor. I don't want a big wedding so I only have 3 bridemaids total and Travis has 3 grooms men: Percy, Cecil, and Connor as his best man. They are going tux shopping today as we do our dress shopping. I was running frantically around my room making sure I had everything when Miranda barged in. "Katie! Come on, we're leaving." She yelled and dragged me outside. "Ok." I said as we ran up the hill to my car where Lou Ellen and Annabeth were waiting. We all got in and I pulled out of the parking lot. We blasted 'Party in the USA' by Miley Cyrus as I drove to the bridal shop in NYC. We finally made it and I parked in front of the store. We all got out and walked inside. I told the receptionist that I had an appointment and she led us to a private area with my friends dresses. I called in 2 weeks ago to make the appointment for dresses and they asked me for the color. I told them meadow green and they pulled out all the dresses that they had in meadow green for our fitting. Now the girls just had to find the dress style they liked in their size and try it on. They scanned the racks and finally chose one that they each liked. They went into the dressing rooms and Miranda came out first. Her dress was absolutely stunning on her and I loved it on her.

"I think this is the one." Miranda said as she looked at me. "I totally agree." I told her as Annabeth came out in her dress, which looked beautiful on her.

"What do you think, Katie?" Annabeth asked me. "I love it on you!" I told her as she looked down at it and thought for a moment. "I love it too!" She said laughing as Lou Ellen came out in her dress.

"Please tell me you like it because I love it." She said smiling. "It's beautiful." Annabeth told her. "Agreed." Miranda and I said in unison. "So, if those are your dresses, we can take them to the counter and get your shoes." I told my friends as they nodded and took their dresses to the counter after they changed out of them. The receptionist took them and placed them on the rack so we can go shop for shoes. We went to the shoe section and looked around. My bridemaids decided to get the same shoes but in their sizes so it made things a little easier for me. "What about these?" I heard Lou Ellen call out and we went over to see what she found.

"Oooouuuuu, those are pretty

"Oooouuuuu, those are pretty." Annabeth said as she gazed at them. "Yeah, they are." Miranda said. "So, try them on! See if you like them!" I said as they each grabbed a box with their size. They tried them on and walked around. "I love them!" They all shouted at the same time. "And they are suprisingly comfy." Annabeth stated. "Then it's done. I'll get these and your dresses." I said as they took the shoes off and put them back in their boxes. We walked up to the counter and I bought their dresses and shoes. "Wow, that was the fastest bridal shopping I have ever done. We were only in there for an hour." Annabeth said as we walked to my car. "Agreed." Lou Ellen said laughing. "Since you just spent 450 dollars, lunch is on me." Miranda said as the girls put their stuff in my car. The café we are eating at is only down the street so we decided to walk. When we reached the café, we walked inside and found a table. "Hello ladies. I'm Kelly, your waitress and I will be taking care of you today. Can I get you guys anything to drink?" Kelly asked us. As the others ordered, I couldn't help thinking that Kelly looked oddly familiar. I think Annabeth saw it too because she kept glancing at me. After Kelly left and came back with our drinks, she took our order. We just ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some fries. "So, you thinking what I'm thinking?" Annabeth whispered to me. I nodded as Kelly came with our pizza and fries. We quickly ate because we had to meet the boys in Central Park in half an hour. When we finished, we walked up to the counter so Miranda could pay. She handed Kelly her Hermes Express debit card and Kelly looked at it, smirking evilly. "I knew I smelled demi-gods!" She sneered and transformed into her normal self: an empousai. Her name tag changed from Kelly to Kelli as she leaped over the counter. Everyone screamed and fled the cafe, tipping tables and chairs on the way out. We patted ourselves, looking for our weapons but found nothing. "Out of everything we brought, we forgot the most important things: our weapons!!!" Lou Ellen yelled as we backed away from Kelli and towards the door. "You guys go. I'll hold her back!" I said as we reached the open glass door. "Absolutley not! We are not leaving you Katie!" Annabeth shouted as I sighed. "Too bad. You don't have a choice!" I said and pushed them out of the café, locking the door behind them. "Katie!!!" They screamed and pounded on the door. "I haven't had a meal in so long! One demi-god will have to do." Kelli said as I tripped on a chair behind me and fell. She came closer but before she could make her move, I heard glass shatter as I covered my head and shattered glass fell around me. I looked at the huge window behind me and found the whole thing shattered. Travis jumped through the window frame with the other boys, swords ready. "Get away from my bride!" Travis yelled as Kelli took a step back. Kelli scanned the boys and narrowed her eyes at Percy. "Perseus Jackson! Long time, no see." Kelli sneered as Percy rolled his eyes. "I wish it was longer." I heard Percy mutter under his breath. I looked behind me at the window and saw my friends motioning for me to come over. I got up and ran to them as they pulled me through the window, making sure I didn't cut myself on the broken glass stuck in the frame. They hugged me tightly as the boys charged Kelli. Being 4 against one, they took her out easily. When they were done, Travis ran out to me and hugged me tightly. "Are you ok!?" He asked me. "Yeah. I'm fine, thanks to you." I said and kissed him. "Where are your throwing daggers amd what were you thinking, locking yourself in there!?!?!?!?" He asked with a small amount of anger in his voice. "I may have forgotton them in all the confusion this morning and I had to protect my friends." I told him truthfully. "Well, that was selfless, reckless, dangerous, and you could have been killed." He said as I hung my head. "But you're ok and that's what matters." He said and hugged me, kissing my forehead as I smiled at him. "Now we can go to Central Park." He said as he wrapped his arm around my waist. The other boys did the same to their girlfriends and we walked to Central Park. "So, why were you at the café anyways?" I asked Travis as we crossed the street. "I wanted to surprise you but when I got there, the other girls were locked outside while you were inside with Kelli." He told me. "Oh, well it's the thought that counts and you definitely suprised me." I said laughing. "So, how was shopping?" Travis asked me as he removed his arm from my waist and we held hands instead. "It was good. We only took an hour!" I told him. "Wow! Even for girls?" He asked as I looked at him and raise my eyebrow. "Yes idiot! Not all girls take forever to shop." I said, hitting his chest. He laughed as I smiled at him and kissed his cheek. Soon, I'll be able to call this dork my husband! ♡
Fun fact: Mirandas dress (the short one with ruffles) is the exact same dress I wore in my dads wedding. It was the same style and was meadow green too. Anyways, till next time my dears!
