"Do we have to?": Part 2

Katies POV:
I woke up at 6 to the sound of my alarm. I groaned but got out of bed, walking over to my phone and shutting my alarm off. I had till 6:50 to get dressed and eat so I didn't want to waste any time. I walked into my closet and found an outfit already picked out. "Aphrodite, there is absolutely no way I am wearing this." I said to the sky.

"Oh, yes you are!" A voice said behind me, making me jump out of my skin. I looked back and saw Aphrodite herself. "No way." I said and she nodded. "Why?" I asked. "Because, you just have to. I promise you will thank me later." She responded and I rolled my eyes. "I doubt it." I grumbled but I went to my bathroom and changed anyways. I came out and Aphrodite started squealing. "You look beautiful!" She said and I rolled my eyes again. "Now for your hair and makeup!" She said excitedly. "No!" I said but was too late. She snapped her fingers and my hair went from a knotty mess to loose curls crusading down my back. Light makeup appeared on my face and I actually liked how I looked. "Wow, I do look pretty." I said as Aphrodite smiled. "Yeah you do! Now go knock em' dead!!" She said and disappeared in a flash. I grabbed my backpack and put my phone inside. I went downstairs and walked into the kitchen, setting my backpack on the counter. Travis was the only one downstairs eating toast for breakfast and I could practically feel him watching me. "You know, it's rude to stare Travis." I said and could see him blush with the eyes in the back of my head. I smirked with my back to him as I put my bagel in the toaster. Annabeth, Percy, and Connor came down as my bagel popped up and I started spreading my cream cheese on it. "Woah Katie! You look beautiful! What's the occasion?" Annabeth asked, eating an apple. "Thank you and Aphrodite was the occasion. You look amazing by the way! I love your necklace! At least you don't have to wear heels!" I said and we laughed. "Thank you!" She responded.

"Well, you guys have 5 minutes to eat." I said and the boys all nodded. I only ate half of my bagel then it was time to go. We walked into the garage and I got into my car as Travis got in the passenger side. "I'm coming with you." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Fine, just hold this!" I said, handing him the rest of my bagel and starting the car. Connor hopped into the back and strapped in. "You too? You have a motorcycle for a reason!" I said and he smirked. "I have to learn how to ride it first." He said and I groaned. "Whatever." I said, pulling out of the garage after Percy and Annabeth, who were riding together in Percys car. "Hey Katie! Can I have a bite of your bagel?" Travis asked me. "If you think I'm sharing my bagel, you are sadly mistaken." I said, taking my bagel from him and eating it. I could see him smirking from the corner of my eye but I ignored him. I was suprised Connor didn't say anything the whole car ride but I didn't think much of it. We pulled into the parking lot at the school and people were already staring. We parked next to each other and all got out. I grabbed my backpack and walked up to the sidewalk. Since Percy went here, he led the way while holding hands with Ammabeth. Since I appeared as the single one, all the boys stared at me and I think it made Travis jealous. He came up next to me and wrapped his arm around my waist, making me blush and making it look like I was taken. "Jealous Travis?" I asked and he blushed. We went to the office and got our schedules then started walking to our first class. We all had the same schedules so we walked to Calculus together. When we got there, we took the 5 seats in the back and and waited for the class to begin. Just as the early bell ran, a jock came over and started talking to me. "So, you got plans on Friday?" He asked but I ignored him and continued scrolling through instagram. "Sorry. She's taken and has plans with me on Friday." Travis spoke up, catching my attention and making the other 3 snicker. The guy huffed and stomped away, mad about his defeat. "Oh, so we're dating now?" I asked Travis, making us both blush. "I guess so!" He said and I smirked. "Fine, I'll play along till schools over but after, I'm giving this act up." I said, making him frown but deep down, I never want to give it up. "Ok....." he said in a sad tone. The late bell rang and we finally started class. For the rest of the day, Travis and I had to hold hands in the halls and sit next to each other in classes. We acted like we were actually dating all day and I truly loved it. I never wanted it to end. When the last bell rang, we walked out of our final class holding hands and to my car. We let go when we got to our cars and Travis sighed. "Katie, I want to tell you the truth. I have always had the biggest crush on you and I don't want this to end. Will you be my girlfriend....... for real?" He asked me and I felt my heart beat loudly, blush appearing on my face. "The truth is, I really like you too and I also don't want this to end. So yes, I would love to be your girlfriend." I told him, smiling as his face lit up and he grabbed my hand. He pulled me in and kissed me passionately as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him back. We broke apart as Percy, Annabeth, and Connor started clapping, making us both blush as we held hands. "Finally!!!!" Connor said, causing the rest of us to laugh. Maybe I really should thank Aphrodite...... ♡
