Travis's POV:

"Hey guys! Does anyone know where Katie went?" I asked the daughters of Demeter during lunch as they looked up as me and smirked. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Poppy spoke up as the rest of the girl giggled and I rolled my eyes. "Yes, I would like to know. That's why I asked." I responded as they continued to giggle. "She went on a walk in the woods near our cabin." Miranda spoke up as I nodded and smiled. "Thanks!" I said, narrowing my eyes at the younger girls and they only laughed harder. I shrugged my shoulders and left the dining hall, walking towards the Demeter cabin. When I reached the woods behind it, I stepped over the shrubs on the outside and found myself in the beautiful forest. I started to walk around, searching for Katie so I could ask her an important question. After a couple minutes of walking, I was about to give up till I heard a shrill scream ring through the trees. I knew that scream.........Katie!!! I looked around, spinning frantically as I searched for her but I suddenly heard the trees above me move. I looked up just as Katie jumped from one tree to the next. She had a scared expression as she searched for the next tree to jump to. Suddenly, I spotted a baby cyclops climbing in the tree she just jumped from. That's why she's on the run! "Katie!" I yelled as she looked down at me and her face lit up. Suddenly, the cyclops jumped on to her tree and it shook as she screamed. She looked back at him and started to make her way around the trunk of the tree, stepping on the branches as she glided across them. When she made it around, she began walking across a really thick branch that began to get thin as she balanced herself. The cyclops made it around the trunk too and began to walk on the branch as well. I followed from the ground and watched as Katie walked on the branch like a balance beam, preparing to jump to the next tree as the cyclops began to run out of room to walk on the branch. He took one more step and slipped as the whole branch shook. Katie screamed as she jumped slightly from the branch and grabbed the one with only one hand. The cyclops wobbled and fell off the branch, roaring as he fell and poofed into gold dust right in front of me when he hit the ground. "Hang on Katie!!!!" I yelled as she whimpered because her grip was slipping finger by finger. Suddenly, her hand completely slipped and she screamed as she fell with her back to the ground. She fell through the leaves screaming as I ran forward and she fell right into my arms. "I got you, Katie-Kat!" I said as I held her in my arms bridal style and she smiled at me. "I know. You're always there for me when I'm in danger." She said, kissing my cheek as I blushed heavily and set her down. "Now let's get out of here before any more come!" She said and grabbed my hand, pulling me back towards camp as we began to run. I held her hand the whole way as we jumped over bushes and ducked under branches. We ran back through the barrier and emerged from the woods right behind the Demeter cabin where I started. We pulled our hands apart and started to catch our breath as we looked at each other. We stared at each other for a good second till we both burst out laughing, clutching our stomachs as we tried to breathe. When we calmed down, I looked Katie right in her shimmering emerald green eyes as she giggled and blushed lightly. "So, how did you know where I was?" She asked as we both sat down in the grass next to each other to relax. "I asked your sisters! I needed to ask you a really important question before someone beat me to it!" I told her as she giggled and picked at the grass. "So, what's your question?" She asked as I looked at her. "I was wondering if you would go to the 4th of July fireworks with me this Friday?" I asked as she looked at me and smiled widely. "Awe, I would love to!" She said and threw her arms around my neck, hugging me as I wrapped my arm around her waist, hugging her back. She unlatched from me and laid down in the grass, studying the clouds as I laid down next to her. She grabbed my hand and pointed up, looking at a cloud. "Look! That cloud looks like a bunny!" She said excitedly as I laughed. "And that one looks like a plane!" I said as she giggled. "That is a plane silly." She said as I squinted my eyes and noticed that it really was a plane. "Oh yeah!" I said as she giggled more. "Well, that one looks like a turtle!" I said as she looked at the cloud I was pointing at. "Woah! It does!" She exclaimed as we both laughed. I cannot wait to ask this amazing, peachy, wonderful, and stunning girl to be my girlfriend at the fireworks this Friday! Hopefully she says yes...... <3

Hey guys!!! I'm so sorry it took me a little over a week to update!!! I have reached a point where I can't find the will to write about this wonderful OTP. Believe me, I still have dozens of ideas but I can't find the "want" to write them. This is not goodbye, trust me. My goal is to make it to 200 parts. What I'm trying to say is I won't be updating as often. Maybe once every 2-3 weeks! I also wanna take some time to go back to the beginning and read through, fixing any mistakes I may find (for the 3rd time). I hope you guys can understand my wish! I love ya'll more than you know and I want to thank you so much for sticking around! Till next time darlings! XOXO
