Running Away!

Katie's POV:
"UUUGGGHHH, I am so fed up with you Stolls!!!!" I yelled at the Stoll brothers as they laughed about my cut rose buds. "One more prank and I'm out of here!" I exclaimed but I don't think they believed me because they continued to laugh. If they think I am joking, they are sadly mistaken. I turned around and went to walk to my cabin but suddenly felt a cold blast of water hit my back. I whipped my head around as Travis dropped the hose and started laughing his head off. I unexpectedly burst into tears and ran because I'm freezing, my roses are ruined, and they pushed me past my limit. I'm out of here and I'm never coming back. 
Connor's POV:
"Dude, why would you do that? You heard her. Now she's going to leave and you made her cry too." I said as Travis stopped laughing and watched Katie run away in tears. "She isn't serious... at least, I hope not. She'll come to breakfast in a couple minutes and I'll apologize then." Travis said as I shrugged my shoulders but I could tell he was serious. I know he didn't mean to make her cry. The dude has a major crush on Katie that I'm not even supposed to know about but I can see it in his eyes. "OK, whatever you say. Now let's go. I'm starving." I told Travis as he nodded and followed me to the dining hall.
Katie's POV:
When I reached my cabin, I ran in too fast for my sisters to realize what happened and ran into my room. I quickly changed into a fast, slip-on dress and packed a small bag. I filled it with Ambrosia, nectar, drachmas, mortal money, and seeds just in case. When I was done packing, I wrote a note to my sisters explaining to them why I had to leave. I left my note on my bed and climbed out the window just as Miranda opened my bedroom door. I ducked under the window sill and heard her mutter "Oh no" when she found my note. She quickly left my room and I took a run for it towards the woods, never looking back.
Travis' POV: 
I watched the Demeter table hoping Katie would show but she hasn't come yet and she should have been here by now. Suddenly, Miranda ran in and handed Chiron a note. His eyes widened when he finished reading it and handed it back to Miranda. "Everybody, listen up!" His voice boomed as the pavilion went silent. "I just got word that Katie Gardner ran away." He said as gasps ran out through the room and I felt my heart break. "Please, anybody! Please help me save my sister. She'll die out there all alone if we don't find her! She hasn't been gone long. I just saw her 10 minutes ago." Miranda said as I stood up from my seat. "I'll go get her." I said as she glared at me. "Why do you even care?! You're the reason she left in the first place." Miranda snapped at me and handed me the note. I read it quickly and realized that I really was the reason she left. "And that's why I volunteer to go save her." I said, handing Miranda the note back as I tried to leave. "I'm coming too." She said as I turned around and grabbed her shoulders, stopping her in her tracks. "You are staying here. I'm the reason she ran away so I'll go get her myself. Besides, you'll be safe here and Katie will have my head if I even consider letting you come." I said as Miranda crossed her arms, shifting all of her weight to one hip. "That's if she'll even survive long enough to take your head....." she said coldly as I sighed. "I know but I'll find her even if it's the last thing that I do." I told her and ran from the dining hall to my cabin to get my sword and change into my armour. Once I had my sword and was changed, I ran to the Demeter cabin. I have no idea what direction Katie ran off in but my heart was telling me that it was behind her cabin so I went that way. I ran through the woods as fast as I could, jumping over fallen trees and dodging branches till I heard a scream.
Katie's POV:
I took off towards the woods behind my cabin. I ran as branches moved out of the way for me till I was far enough from camp. It helps being a daughter of Demeter. The branches move out of the way for me without asking. When I was far enough away from camp, I started walking till I heard large branches being snapped and small trees falling over. I watched as an average sized cyclops appeared at the other end of the clearing I was in. He started walking towards me as I reached for my necklace but it wasn't there. I looked at my hand and realized my ring and bracelet were missing too. Out of everything I brought, I forgot to put on my weapons disguised as jewelry. I screamed but before I could run, the cyclops grabbed me by the neck and threw me. I hit a tree and fell to the ground as someone charged the cyclops but everything went black.
Travis' POV:
I looked towards the clearing that the scream came from and watched as a cyclops picked up Katie by the neck. I ran towards him as he threw Katie at a tree and she fell to the ground unconscious. I jumped up with my sword but he saw me coming. He swung his arm and hit me, sending me flying into a tree. I hit it and slid to the ground as he charged at me. I got up and regained my vision, dodging his attack as he ran into the tree. I took this chance and stabbed him in the back as he roared and poofed into gold dust. I quickly ran over to Katie and checked her pulse. She had one but it was very weak. I had to get her to camp, and FAST!!!! I picked her up bridal style and ran towards camp as fast as I could. As I ran, I noticed that the branches moved out of the way for me as I neared them. It must be a daughter of Demeter thing because they didn't do this when it was just me. When I neared the entrance, I slowed down and walked through the barrier slowly. I looked at Katie's face (above) but there was still no moment and I was really starting to worry. As I came over the hill, campers were watching from the windows of the dining hall and started shouting when they spotted me carrying an unconscious Katie. Several of them yelled "He's back!" and "He found her!" as they came running out of the hall and towards us. Will and Miranda were one of the first ones who reached us so Will took her from my arms and carried her to the infirmary for treatment as Miranda followed while everybody else flooded me with questions. When I finally shoved through the crowd, I ran to the infirmary and found Miranda watching Will wrap Katie's head. When I came up behind her, she looked back at me and smiled slightly. "Thank you. If you didn't find her in time, she would probably be dead." Miranda said as I shook my head in disagreement. "No, she would be dead. I got there just in time." I said as Katie started to stir and her beautiful eyes fluttered open. "What happened? How did I get here?" She asked, rubbing her head as she sat up. "Travis went after you solo and saved you." Miranda said as Katie glared at me. "Why the hell would you do that? The only good I am for you is being your prank victim." She said coldly as I felt my heart pierce with the ice spear she just shot at me with her voice. "Because I love you, Katie Marie Gardner." I said as Will, Miranda, and Katie herself stared at me with surprise but I kept talking. "I have been in love with you since the day I laid eyes on you. I prank you because it's the only way to get your attention. When you said you were going to leave, I only thought you were only kidding and as soon as I found out you ran away, I immediately volunteered to come find you myself. Ask Miranda, she wanted to come do but I said hell no because, first of all, you would have murdered me for letting her come, second of all, she was safer here, and third of all, I was the reason you left so I wanted to be the one to bring you home. I love you, Katie." I said, looking at the ground as Katie looked at Miranda for proof and she nodded, confirming my whole story. Katie stood up and walked over to me, stopping right in front of me as I gulped in fear. I expected her to slap or punch me but she grabbed the collar of my armour and pulled down, standing on her tiptoes as our lips met. My lips started to tingle at feel of her lips and I have never felt a better feeling in all of my life. When she pulled away from me, she looked up at me and smiled. "You know, if you had just said that in the first place, you would have saved us all the trouble." Katie commented as we all laughed. "Yeah, but then I wouldn't have the courage to ask you if you will be my girlfriend?" I asked nervously as Katie frowned then smiled. "Wow. I didn't know I had to almost get myself killed just for you to man up-" Katie said as we all laughed again. "-but yes. I would love you be your girlfriend." Katie finished as I smiled and kissed her again. "But now I'm hungry. I didn't eat breakfast." She said as I smiled and led her out of the infirmary, escorting her to the dining pavilion so she could finally eat the most important meal of the day. 
Here is some Tratie fluff for you, my beautiful readers! I am very happy to say that I have made awesome progress on "A Tratie Adventure" and I hope to release it in the next 2 weeks! I'm hoping for next Friday but we'll say 2 weeks at the latest! I will definitely keep you guys updated. Till next time, my luvs!
