Tessa Grande

Tessas POV:
Hi! If you don't know me, my name is Tessa Grande! I have a twin brother who looks a lot like me named Tommy and we attend Goode High School together. If you haven't figured it out yet, our mother is the Ariana Grande. We live here in NYC but our mom is currently in LA recording her new single "Thank you, next". Our father disappeared when we were born so we have never met him. My brother and I may be famous and have a famous mother, but we never let it get to our heads. We may be popular just because we exist, but we like to hang out with everybody. We may live in a huge penthouse, but we couldn't care less. Our mother may be a multi-millionaire, but we don't brag about it. You should see Selena Gomez's daughter Samantha: she is the definition of a spoiled brat who brags about everything and uses her fame as an excuse to act like royalty. Today was the last day Tommy and I knew what normal meant. We walked into school and people immediately cleared a path for us. I hated when people treated us like gods because we are just like everyone else: we are human. We walked to our lockers and opened them as our best friends Katie and Travis ran up to us. Katie and Travis have been dating since we met them and they are goals beyond realism!!! "Guys, we gotta go!!!" They said, anxiously looking around. "Why?" We asked, kinda frightened. "We'll explain later!" They said and grabbed our hands, dragging us out of school as we ran to Travis's car. Tommy and I jumped in the back as Travis and Katie jumped in up front and Travis started the car. We pulled out and took off down the road at full speed. All of a sudden, I heard a bunch of car alarms and I looked back, my eyes widening when I saw what was following us. "Katie...... what the bloody hell is that!?!?" I asked as she looked in her side mirror and her eyes widened. "Travis, it found us! Drive faster!" Katie said as she touched her bracelet and it morphed in a bow and quiver. She opened her window and carefully slid her body out sitting on the door and locking her legs to the seat. Her hair flew in her face as she grabbed an arrow and loaded her bow, aiming at the "dog" thingy. Tommy and I watched in amazement as she shot and hit the thing right in the eye, cauing it to explode into gold power stuff, dusting all of the cars around it. We sighed a sigh of relief as Katie slid back in the car and closed her window. We watched as her bow + quiver disappeared and her bracelet reappeared on her wrist. "Katie, what is going on!?!?" Tommy asked, both of us still a little freaked out. "Do you guys remember what you learned in Greek Mythology?" She asked and we nodded. "We learned about the Greek Gods and Goddesses!" Tommy said as Katie nodded. "Well, they are no myth! They are as real as you and me!" Katie told us as our jaws dropped. "Wait, so why was that thing chasing us?" I asked. "Because you're demi-gods, like me and Travis! That's why you both are dyslexic and have ADHD." She said and it actually made a little sense. "So if you're demi-gods like us, then who are your godly parents?" Tommy asked. "Travis is a son of Hermes and I am a daughter of Demeter." Katie answered proudly as we smiled. "That's so cool!!! I can't way to see who our dad is!" Tommy said excitedly, looking at me and I nodded in agreement. I watched as the city of NYC disappear through the window and fell asleep on Tommy's shoulder shortly after. I don't know how long I was asleep but I suddenly felt the car skid to a stop. Katie and Travis jumped out as Tommy shook me awake to get me fully aware. He helped me out just as a huge foot came down and smashed the whole car. We all backed away in fear and saw a huge cyclops towering over us. "Run!!!!!" Travis yelled and we bolted into the woods. I was running with Tommy but started falling behind because I'm not the fastest runner. We continued running and I could feel that the cyclops was not far behind me. Ahead, I spotted an arch with two torches on the side. The writing on top was in greek but then it shifted, reading "Camp Half-Blood". Katie, Travis, and Tommy ran across the blue force field thingy and I was almost there but I felt something wrap around my body and lift me up. I screamed as I went higher and my friends + brother stopped, looking back at me with eyes filled with fear. "Tessa!!!!" Tommy yelled and ran out of the camp with Travis and Katie close behind. "Put me down!!!" I yelled as Katie touched her bracelet and it morphed into her bow and quiver again. She took an arrow, putting it in her bow and aimed. I watched and she took her shot, hitting the cyclops right in the shoulder. He roared in pain and anger, dropping me as I screamed. I was a good 20 feet off the ground and knew it would hurt. I screamed more as I neared the ground but tiny vines grew out of the ground and laced themselves into a net. I bounced on the net as Katie kept shooting at the cyclops, keeping him away from me. Tommy ran over and helped me off the net and we ran into camp, protected by its barrier. As soon as we were safe, Tommy hugged me tightly. "Thank the gods you're alright! I thought I was going to lose you!" He said as I hugged him back. Our mother is always in LA and we barely ever see her so we have kept each other company our whole lives. "Thanks to Katie, I'm ok!" I said, looking at my bestfriend as she smiled. We walked the rest of the way through the woods and finally Camp Half-Blood came into view. It was really beautiful and I was awe strucken. (Enter description here..... I'm too lazy) We walked to the infirmary and got some "necter" from a guy named Will. The sweet liquid was amazing and it brought our energy level back up. When we finished, we walked to lunch and we ate at the Hermes table with Travis because we weren't claimed yet. Later that day, people discovered that our mother is the Ariana Grande but they didn't care, and I loved it! We would finally be treated normally here. When we finished our lunch, Katie and Travis showed us the rest of camp and even the place where they first kissed and I couldn't help but squeal. They are so freaking cute! I hope I find love like that some day. They introduced us to some of their other camp friends and Chiron. When we were done, we hung out on the beach for a little till it was time for the bonfire. Just as we arrived, Tommy and I started glowing yellow/gold with a symbol above our heads as people stopped and stared. Chrion trotted over and grabbed our hands, raising them high. "All hail Tommy and Tessa Grande, son and daughter of Apollo!!!" Chiron shouted as everyone cheered. Tommy and I smiled to each other as we sat down on a log and thought about how we finally knew who our father was. Of course our mom would fall for the god of music. We enjoyed the rest of the bonfire and when it was over, we followed our new brother Will to our new cabin. On the way, I accidently ran into someone because I wasn't watching where I was going. I looked up and found myself staring into these startling gray eyes that could calculate your every move. "Oh, I'm so sorry!!! I wasn't watching where I was going!!" I exclaimed as the guy smiled. "That's ok!!! I'm Malcolm Pace, son of Athena." The cute blonde said, shaking my hand. "I'm Tessa, daughter of Apollo." I said as he smiled. "I know. I saw you get claimed at the bonfire." He said as I blushed, looking at the ground. "Can I walk you to your cabin, milady?" He asked as I smiled and nodded. He created a loop with his arm and I linked my arm with his. He walked me to the Apollo cabin where Tommy was waiting on the porch. "So, will I see you tomorrow?" Malcolm asked as we arrived at my cabin. "Absolutely!" I said as he smiled. "Great! Good night! See you tomorrow!" He shouted as he ran back to his cabin. I smiled and walked on to the porch as Tommy raised an eyebrow. "Is this your first relationship I see???" Tommy asked as we walked into our cabin. "I don't know. Maybe........." I said, smiling to myself as walked to my new bunk inside my new cabin with my new siblings in my new home. ♡
