Davina gasps awake and sees that she was covered in sweat due to her vivid nightmare. She dreamt of the one, single thing that she feared over the years. The humming, the flowers, and Dahlia were all in her dream. As much as she wished that it was meaningless, it didn't feel that way. She saw images, almost like a premonition. Dahlia would be coming soon, and there was nothing she could do about it.She quickly jumps out of bed and grabs her phone, desperate to talk to someone. Davina dials a number and impatiently waits for them to answer.
"Morning, love. Sleep well?"
"Not one bit," she groans. "I need to talk to you. It's bad. Where are you?"
"I'll text you the address," he replies, sounding worried. "Are you okay?"
"I'm not okay at all."

Davina arrives at a crappy looking motel and knocks on the door with Kol's room number. When he opens up, she shoots him a tired but playful smirk. "Seems you've got a thing for motels."
"Hey, Davina, is that you?"
She looks past Kol and sees Anastasia standing by a broken mirror. "Oh, I didn't realize you were here, too, Ana. Um, what are you doing?"
"Trying to repair the damage you two did to my de-linking spell," she replies, making Davina sigh.
"Oh. Okay, Kol could I talk to you? You know, about-"
"Yeah, of course, darling." Kol closes the door behind him and they walk out on the sidewalk. "What happened?"
"Let's just say that I had a very, very bad dream," Davina confesses, making him furrow his eyebrows.
"What kind of dream?"
"Nightmarish, I'd say. Felt pretty realistic, too. Somehow, from that burnt house near Mystic Falls, Dahlia sent me a dream that said she would be awake real soon. She would come for me, for Freya, and...I don't know, there's something else that I'm not sure is true." Davina didn't want to tell Kol about the part with Klaus and Hayley's baby because it freaked her out way too much. Plus, she thought that Hope's parents should be the one to tell him that their child is alive.
"Bloody hell," Kol murmurs. "Did she let you know when?"
"No. I can tell that Dahlia's not awake yet, but when she does come, it's going to be hell. She's gonna be pissed that I ran away from her, even though it's her fault I woke up from my sleeping spell so early. I mean, how am I—what am I supposed to do?"
"Well, first off, I recommend staying calm. Getting worked up about her isn't going to do you any good. Secondly, when Dahlia does come this way, you have a massive amount of people who are willing to stand by your side. Everyone who cares for you and loves you are going to keep you safe," he assures her.
"I don't know...at the moment, I feel pretty screwed," Davina sighs.
"You're not. Okay? Trust me when I say that. And, honestly, you shouldn't worry about her until she shows her crazy-ass face. It'll just cause you more stress than you need."
"I guess you're right."
"Heh, Davina Claire, I'm always right," Kol teases, making her giggle.
"What a liar you are," she smiles and the two embrace. "You've always been good at this. You know, calming me down, comforting me."
"I try my hardest," he replies before kissing her head. "And I love you."
Even though it felt a little strange saying it to a different face, Davina had no problem telling him, "I love you, too."
