Davina, a strung-out Kol, and Anastasia arrive at the St. James Infirmary, but he looks extremely overwhelmed by all of the heartbeats and blood of everyone."Ohh, I can't be here, guys," Kol mumbles. "This is a bad idea."
"It's a good idea," Davina corrects and leads him inside by the hand. "Magic won't affect you in here, so come in and take your mind off it." By the look on his face, his sensitivity to everyone has decreased immensely and a relieved look appears. "Feeling better?"
"Seems I owe you again," he smiles and takes her hands. "You must be growing tired of saving my ass."
"Mm, actually, it's quite fun," she chuckles. "What if I told you I had a way to fix all of our problems?"
"What do you have in mind, darling?"
Davina glances over at Vincent sitting with Anastasia. Kol follows her gaze and frowns, not looking too happy to see him.

Davina and Anastasia were sitting on one side of the table while Vincent and Kol sat on the other.
"Try to remember," Vincent advises, pushing a glass of scotch towards Kol. "Your spirit was trapped with the ancestors. Did they say anything?"
"Yeah, well, it's kind of hard to recall anything when there's a boot in your face," he sighs.
"Imagine when Davina brought you back. Did you hear voices? Spells? Chants? I don't know, a threat?"
"There was no talk, okay? They hate me because I'm a Mikaelson," Kol states.
"This questions are getting us nowhere, Vince," Davina points out. "What are you trying to figure out?"
"The ancestors made a deal with Lucien. That's an act of war. And now, they're coming after Kol," Vincent explains, causing the girls to exchange worried glances. "If I knew why, then maybe I could convince them that there's a better way. Maybe I could talk some sense into 'em."
"You make them sound like they're a committee of sort," Kol scoffs. "Reasonable people."
"The dead were once the living, and the living want to do is avoid trouble and protect their own. I remember coming to Music Days when I was a kid. I—I remember all the covens gathering together. And no matter what your beef was with somebody else, well that one day, it was all good. And you could feel the presence of all those that came before. You could feel 'em watching. Peaceful. Now, every since vampires took over this city, those same spirits have been restless." Kol rolls his eyes at the dig towards vampires. "And the covens will never know peace with the Mikaelsons living here. Now, my guess is the ancestors see Lucien as a weapon. Use him on vampires, right? Use him on the family that begot them. And, if we're gonna stop that, somebody's gotta convince the ancestors there's a better way."
Vincent stands up, as well as Kol, who looks suspicious of his motives. "Why would you ever help me?"
"This isn't about you. This is about these two ladies right here. I figure I owe them that much," Vincent says, making the witches smile slightly.

Anastasia was sitting at the bar while Davina and Kol were swaying to the music, occasionally kissing each other.
"We're going to be okay," Davina assures him with a smile. "We've already been through so much. Once we deal with the ancestors, we'll have that date you wanted."
