Lightning and thunder rumble overhead while Rebekah and Davina, who have set up an altar outside the Lycée, prepare to unlink Eva's body from Anastasia and the other New Orleans witch children. Rebekah finishes lighting their candles, while Vincent stands nearby for moral support.

"All right, then," Rebekah mumbles nervously. "Just a little bit of witchy business. How difficult can it be?"

Davina smiles at her encouragingly. "The hard part was Eva linking herself to the kids. Since it's your body now, you've gotta do the unlinking yourself."

Vincent approaches the witches and hands Rebekah a piece of paper. "Here. Read what I wrote and abracadabra, link severed."

"Lovely. I guess I'm just hoping I don't turn us all into a horde of bullfrogs," Rebekah muses. Davina chuckles and holds her hands out so Rebekah could channel her. The two of them begin chanting the spell, though after a while, Davina stops and watches Rebekah do it herself. Suddenly, Davina and Rebekah's hands are magically thrown apart, and the girls look at each other in confusion before looking over at Vincent. "Is it done?"

"Hang on, I'll text Ana real quick," Davina murmurs and pulls out her phone. She quickly sends her a message before taking the blade from Vincent. "Here." Rebekah sighs and reluctantly cuts her fingertip with it. Davina checks her phone and sees that Anastasia had responded that she was uninjured.

"It worked," Davina grins.

Davina bites her lip anxiously while she paces in Rousseau's. She was getting herself a drink when Rebekah called her to say that Klaus was missing from his coffin. Now, Davina had just broke the news to Camille.

"What do you mean he's gone?"

"I mean exactly what I just said. Klaus is not daggered in the coffin anymore," Davina sighs. "I'd say he's currently plotting ways to get back at anyone who shoved him in there, including his siblings and quite possibly me. Given that we have an ancient witch to kill, I was hoping you might try and reason with him. Ideally, before he goes ballistic."

"I'm flattered, I guess," Camille mumbles. "But what exactly am I supposed to say to him?"

"Anything, as long as it comes from you. Come on, please."

"Klaus is an unstable, paranoid narcissist with chronic mood issues and zero impulse control! Right now, he's furious because the people he loves most literally stabbed him in the heart. That is his worst fear come true. What makes you think he'll listen to anyone, least of all me?"

"Because he secretly adores you, Cami, so you'll be the only one he'll listen to. Do I have to get on my knees and beg you? Because if I must, I will."

Camille lets out a short chuckle and shakes her head. "That's not necessary, Davina. You're my friend, of course I'll help you."

"Oh, thank god, because I hate begging people."

"Wait, so you're saying there's going to be a whole process to become Regent? That's not what she signed up for, Vince," Davina scoffs. "I thought you were just going to tell the witches that Ana was going to be their leader, and boom. She's got all the power."

"Listen, the Rite of Supplication is just a formality! Ana will meet the Elders and just needs to show a little bit of respect. They only listened to me when they thought I was accepting the job, and if it's gonna be her, we've gotta grease some wheels."
