LIANA  sat in the swelteringly hot transfiguration classroom. She was slumped in her chair, hands supporting her head and her hair was piled up into a bun on top her head, loose curls drifting down to hang beside her jaw.

Exam week was proving more of a challenge than she had anticipated.

She stared down at the exam paper in front of her and scrawled a few answers she was sure were completely incorrect anyway, she hadn't revised in the slightest for the exams and was regretting that now.

She glanced around as she put her quill down.

Harry had his brow furrowed as he learnt over the paper, extreme confusion evident on his face. Ron was sleeping on his desk and had clearly, like Liana, given up. Hermione was the only one who seemed happy with how the exam was going as she scribbled away feverishly in her minuscule print.

Liana stared out of the window in a glazed way, not really focusing on anything in particular. A few topics swirling round her mind like a washing machine.

First on the list was Professor Lupin. The professor whom she hadn't minded, had been acting rather strange around her, just shooting her confused looks every ten minutes and Liana would be lying if she said it didn't bother her.

Secondly was Buckbeak, his oncoming execution had been weighing heavily on Liana's mind as the date approached, although the girl was certain that Hagrid didn't like her as she never stopped talking every time she visited him, she couldn't help but pity the half giant over the misfortune that he and Buckbeak had suffered.

Lastly on the list was Grey, Fred and George who had been acting even more out of character than Professor Lupin had been. Grey, who was normally odd anyway, had taking to running away from his sister every time he saw her in the corridor and Liana was getting highly suspicious every time she saw he three crowed around a book that she was almost positive was from the restricted section.

"Quills down," Professor McGonagall stood from her chair and glanced over the pupils, her eyes lingering over the four that always seemed to be at the heart of every issue that arose.

For once they weren't doing anything wrong however so McGonagall proceeded to collect in the exam papers, raising her eyebrows slightly at Liana's first question answer. The answer was mostly correct other than the fact she had smudged the ink and there was a small doodle in the corner which looked rather like a hippogriff.

Liana sighed as she joined Hermione, Ron and Harry in stretching her stiff limbs and trailing towards the greenhouse where the herbology exam was going to be taking place.

"These exams are torture-" Liana groaned as she linked arms with Hermione as they walked, sweat shining on their heads and tired faces peering into the sunny distance where the greenhouses stood.
