NO ONE knew how to throw parties like the Hufflepuffs. That was something Liana had learned very quickly in the last thirty minutes. She stood in the middle of the Hufflepuff common room with Neville by her side, downing her fire whiskey in one go.

"Don't you think you ought to go easy on the drink?" Asked Neville nervously as he eyed the cup which had been full a few minutes ago but now only drops remained.

"Don't worry Neville I'm doing great!" Laughed Liana, her eyes never leaving the centre of the room where Harry stood with Cho on his arm. The two were talking in hushed voices and every now and then Cho would giggle and gaze deeper into Harry's eyes. Liana clenched her fingers tighter around her cup and her knuckles slowly began to turn white.

"I'm getting another drink," announced Liana and she marched off to the table which stood laden with punch, fire whiskey and butter beer.

"Hello Liana," smiled a Hufflepuff from Liana's care of magical creatures class.

"Hi Hannah," Liana forced a grin as she poured herself another large cup of fire whiskey. Hannah Abbott was quite a nice girl, but she did love to gossip and it honestly drove Liana around the bend most of the time.

"How cute are they?" Gushed Hannah and Liana turned around to see where Harry and Cho were, Harry's arm around Cho's shoulders.

"So adorable I could melt," Liana spoke sarcastically through gritted teeth and she took a large gulp of fire whiskey.

"It's strange seeing him with another girl- me and the other Hufflepuffs always thought Harry would end up with you. I guess not," shrugged Hannah, eyeing Liana to watch her reaction.

"As much as I've loved speaking to you Hannah, I have to get back to Neville," Liana excused herself as she to backed away from the Hufflepuff. She would rather jump into a snake pit than admit any of her feelings to Hannah Abbott.

"Oh- alright I guess," Hannah frowned, rather disappointed as she watched Liana hurry away.

Liana leant against the wall, Neville by her side, as she was properly drunk now. Her eyesight was a little blurred and something about the drink seemed to make her temper worse.

"Gosh I can't stand them," Liana glowered. Neville didn't have to ask to know who she was talking about.

"Just ignore them Liana, you don't want to start any drama now," Neville reasoned as he sipped his butter beer thoughtfully. It seemed Liana had other plans however
