WHEN Liana awoke on Christmas day, she had an unusually light feeling in her chest. Today was the day all about family and friends, where she refused to worry about anything that was out of her control. She wouldn't worry about her powers and how her dreams seemed to be getting worse by the day, she wouldn't worry about Umbridge as her return to school neared and she most definitely wouldn't think about Christina and their discussion yesterday.

"Merry Christmas Liana!" Squealed Hermione as she came prancing over and suddenly bushy hair clouded Liana's vision as Hermione pulled her into a massive hug.

"Merry Christmas Hermione," Grinned Liana, squeezing her tightly.

"You're late waking up, everyone's downstairs already- Arthur's here!" beamed Hermione excitedly, dragging Liana out of bed by her hand. Liana staggered to her feet and pulled a jumper over her pyjamas as she went pounding downstairs after Hermione, a smile on her face.

Everyone was waiting in the kitchen already. Most of the Order was there along with the Weasleys. Liana chuckled slightly as she saw that Tonks had managed to bribe Remus into wearing his Christmas jumper with dancing elves across the front. Sirius was standing at the head of the table, a wonky paper hat on his head as he downed his fire whiskey in a jolly fashion.

"Merry Christmas!" Cheered Tonks as she spotted Liana walking in from the corner of her eye, distracted by Remus trying to struggle his way out of the jumper again.

"No Remus!" scolded Tonks and she yanked the sleeve back down much to his disgruntlement.

"Oh good you're here Liana- breakfast?" Offered Molly at once as she gestured to Liana's seat at the table next to Fred and Harry. Liana gratefully sat down and immediately began to help herself to jam on toast.

"She's got really great manners hasn't she Harry?- Doesn't even say hello before she starts eating" Fred commented sarcastically as she ruffled Liana's already sleep tangled hair.

"Food will always come before you Fred. It's called priorities." Liana rolled her eyes and she dipped her finger into the jam and smeared it down Fred's nose. Fred looked outraged and lunged for Liana, a spoonful of yogurt clutched in his fist. But Liana screeched and curled up into a ball against Harry, her body shaking with laughs.

"No, no- I'm sorry," Liana protested as she pushed Fred's threatening hand away. Harry laughed as he helped Liana sit upright again.

"You better start sleeping with two eyes open Liana, this isn't over-" warned Fred, menacingly shaking the spoon of yogurt, a twinkle of amusement in his warm brown eyes.
