CHRISTINA Holly was not okay.

She currently sat in her armchair by the fire in the Holly small London flat, every blind was shut, every lamp was off. The only light was the crackling flames that she was watching in an almost hypnotised state, her chocolate eyes wide. Grey Holly wasn't much better. His hands had been shaking for several days straight ever since he found out about Liana, he yawned into the silence that had fallen over the two siblings.

They weren't used to silence in the flat. Liana was always the life and soul of the party, whether it was her favourite game 'who can piss off the neighbours the most' or her famous karaoke sessions where she would belting out Whitney Housten at five am.

But with the absence of the young girl, the remanence of the Holly's had fallen into disarray.

"When do you think we'll find her Christina?" Asked Grey finally.

Lifting his drooping eyes to glance at his sister, who was slumped in the armchair, looking more like a skeleton than a human.

"Soon," Christina mumbled through pursed lips, but it was painfully obvious that it was a lie.

"D-do you think she's okay?" Grey muttered, his chest tightening and his fist clenching weakly.

"She's Liana," shrugged Christina, as if it were a satisfactory answer, her eyes not leaving the fire.

"Chrissie how long are you going to sit there for? She's not going to call,"

"You never know! Floo powder is something you have no experience with Grey- Stop acting like a child!" Snapped Christina, turning her eyes away from the fire to finally meet Grey's.

The once warm chocolate had turned hard and cold. Her skin was pale and the lines by her eyes pressed hard into her flesh, despite barely being in her young twenties.

"Alright then," nodded Grey, his voice quiet and he could barely hold the hurt from penetrating his tone.

"Look Grey- I'm sorry okay? I'm just sick of dealing with Liana, I promised our mother I would never let anything harm her, and yet she's slipped through my fingers once again-" Christina muttered, lowering her head as she flashed an apologetic look momentarily to the boy.

"I'm going to check on the Weasleys. Molly would have a fit if I didn't give her a update,"  Grey told his sister, but Christina didn't even raise her head. The poor teen lowered his gaze and focused hard on gritting his teeth so he wouldn't cry. Crying was for babies, he knew that.
