Timer

A/n: sorry for disappearing for two days, had to go to my mums bc my dad was working and my mum turns off the wifi at night... when I post soooo. In other words, I got one of these baby bottle phone cases and it's so cute omg I love it.

Au: soulmate au where a timer is on your wrist, when it reaches 0, you meet your soulmate.

30 minutes.

In 30 minutes you'd meet your soulmate.

You didn't dare change your usual path as you walked to the shops. You didn't actually need anything, but if you stayed inside then you obviously wouldn't meet your soulmate and the timer would reset.

You watched the numbers count down on your wrist. Waiting. You were buzzing with excitement, you just wanted the 30 minutes to be over already. You made sure to keep the exact same path to the shops as to not miss him.

You kept your eyes on the timer, watching and waiting. It was only a matter of time. You looked around, seeing if anyone else was watching their wrist. You couldn't see anyone, you mustn't be close enough yet. You watched the numbers decrease painfully slowly.

By the time you reached the shops there was only 5 minutes left on the timer. You decided to kill those five minutes by walking around inside and you ended up buying two mini packets of marshmallows, one for you, one for when your soulmate. You left the shops, eyes glued to your wrist. Any minute now.

10 seconds left.

"10... 9... 8..." You mumbled to yourself, walking aimlessly as you watched your wrist.

"7...6...5..."

You didn't dare look away from your wrist.

"4...3...2..."

Suddenly you felt yourself walk into something, just as the timer hit 0. You could tell by the soft white shirt that it was a person.

"Oh, sorry" you said, taking a step back.

"It's ok... in fact, I think its fate"

You looked up, your eyes met a black haired boy, really dark, almost black eyes, noticeable eyebags, tall, stick thin and holding up his arm, that had a timer on it, reading 00:00.

This, was your soulmate.

You looked down at the stopped timer on your wrist then back up at him.

"Holy shit my soulmates a human panda" you said.

He laughed at your statement and smiled down at you.

"That's one way to put it. You know I actually wasn't going to go out today but then I saw that the timer would run out today, so here I am" he said.

"I'm (y/n), nice too finally meet you soulmate" you said, holding out a hand to shake.

He took it and shook your hand.

"I'm... Ryuzaki. Kinda, it's probably best I don't say my real name outside" he replied.

"Ooo, why? You a spy or something?" You joked.

"Close"

"Whhhaaaattt? My soulmate is some mysterious crime fighter? Hell yeah"

He laughed again and suddenly jumped when someone yelled his name. He turned to see who it was then looked back at you.

"Let's... go somewhere else. I don't really wanna talk to them"
