L Lawliet x reader head-canon oneshots 2 • DEATH NOTE [COMPLETED]

Switched part 6

A/n: WOW maybe I should put all of switched in its own book because it's getting really long. Anyway, here's a little doodle of how I've been imagining the alters. Gosh I hope I'm getting all this DID stuff right 😅

Ryuzaki is based off how I see BB, because B was relatively pretty close to L in a way and idk I guess L's Brian just based Ryu off that, What I mean by that is B to me at least has dyed hair from when he was trying to be L, so that's why Ryu has two-toned hair. I based him off B. And Ryuga was created out of a mix between some of L's live action actors, the hair colour is from drama L, but slightly lighter, the longish hair is a mix of musical L and anime L and I have him a hoodie kind of based off the jacket musical L wears, but I didn't think such a long coat would fit Ryuga so I made it a hoodie instead. Ok, onto the story:

Ryuzaki eventually came back to the front later that night, after Ryuga had forced his way to the front to hug you since L was refusing to let you go earlier. Ryuga just wanted a hug too. Ryuga actually seemed to be developing more, you could say, like he was building up a more solid personality than just anger and bad memories. You were proud of him for that.

But back to Ryuzaki, you'd given him a little while to stop dissociating and finish the work he left. L had tried to help and do some of it, but he lacked the memories of some of the case timeline so he couldn't do much. But later that night when everyone went to bed, you approached Ryuzaki. You sat down next to him and put on a serious tone.

"Ryuzaki"

He turned to face you.

"We have to talk" you said, sternly.

"Ok?"

"What's wrong? You've been hiding in the inner world a lot recently. You shouldn't stress yourself, you know how bad stress can be for the system"

"D-don't worry about it" he stammered.

"I'm worrying about it. And so is L and Ryuga. If you just bounce from the front out of nowhere then L or Ryuga has to front with no knowledge of what the body is currently doing, or where you are. And don't think I haven't noticed it's always around Light, is he triggering you?"

Ryuzaki fell silent, he knew he was cornered. You were worried and now you wouldn't stop until you knew why, or at least had knowledge that it was triggering to talk about.

"S-seriously (y/n), don't worry-"

"No. Ryuzaki, this is affecting the case and the system. Now tell me what's wrong..."

He was silent for a moment, before sighing and gaining a sad expression.

"I don't trust him... I know he's Kira! we all do, and... I think he's trying to kill us... in fact I know he is. I get a really bad feeling about all this and I keep going back into the inner world because, well... he scares me. He scares me and I want to try and figure out a way to get us out of this case alive. I'm the protector... it's my job. But the problem is that the body's birth name is the same as L's, and I can trust him to keep quiet about it, but if Kira needs a name and a face to kill then..." he trailed off.
