Costume party

Misa, being the social butterfly she is, invited the taskforce to her companies yearly costume party. Everyone agreed to go, mainly because she wouldn't stop bugging them, also because there'd be food.

L wasn't going to go, but the he heard of the chocolate fountain and decided the food was worth suffering.

You actually liked to dress up, so you decided to go. So you rolled up at the party wearing your hair in pigtails, with a skirt, boots, arm warmers, tie and vest. You'd shown up as Miku, thinking it would be cute. That's and Misa said she was going as sailor moon and wanted to be twin-tail buddies.

Upon entering you almost immediately heard Misas voice.

"Oh my god (y/n)! You're so cute!" She squeaked, running over in her seifuku.

"Thanks, you too!" You replied.

You looked around, not expecting so many people. But then again, this was a full company and each model probably bought friends too.

"Almost the whole taskforce is here, Lights on his way and I'm still waiting on L" Misa said.

"Wait, he's actually coming? I didn't think he would" you replied.

"I mentioned food"

"Ah- that's why"

What would L be dressed as? Probably something simple because he doesn't like fancy clothes that restrict your movement. And he probably wouldn't even think about wigs, so a character with black hair would probably be a possibility. Just as the thought crossed your mind, you felt a tap on your shoulder. You turned to see the man himself, wearing jeans, converse, a red and black checked shirt, fangs and had two red dots drawn on his neck.

"Ryuzaki! I didn't think you'd actually come" Misa said.

"I'm just here for the food honestly" he replied.

"I figured"

Then it clicked, you got who he was now.

"Marshall lee!" You said, pointing to his fangs.

"Yep, it was easy and didn't involve some crazy set of armour or something. Plus my hair is similar so I didn't have to do much too it" he replied.

You didn't actually realise how much he had in common with the cartoon vampire until now. The hair, the sass, the jeans, the laid back vibe.

"I'm guessing you're Miku?"

"The one and only! Although it's pretty obvious, it's an iconic outfit" you said.

You heard the doors open, then close again and turned to see who it was. A familiar brunette wearing probably the most dramatic thing ever. Of course Light would wear something dramatic...

"LIGHT! YOU LOOL AMAZING!" Misa screeched, running over to hug him.

L gave him a 'really?' Look.

"Of course..." you said.

"It had to be Lelouch..." L added.

Then again what did you expect... it's Light, his dramatic ass would wear anything with a cape.

"What's this? Ryuzaki? Wearing a DIFFERENT coloured shirt?" Light joked.

"Haha, at least I can move around in my costume without stepping on a cape" L sassed back.

"So Misa as Sailor Moon, (y/n) is Miku and you're... and edge lord?"

"Marshall lee, duh"

Light gave him a confused look.
