JAYDEN P. O. V.

When my dad had mentioned the word MARRIAGE, Jessica looked like she was about to kill my father. The shock expression on her face mixed with anger as she looked at her mom then at me.

As I looked into her beautiful grey eyes I couldn't help but feel lost in them.

Few minutes of uncomfortable silence past by before Jessica spoke still looking at me.

"NO" she said sternly looking at me

"Jessica trust me you don't need to rush into a decision right now" my dad said but Jessica still had her eyes on me.

"Yes dear you can think about it and get back to us" my mom said as she stretched to hold Jessica hand this made her snap and look at my mom. "Here" my mom gave her the file with Jessica looked at it like it was a bomb

Jessica looked at everyone again picked up the documents and with that she stood up and left the room without saying a thing.

Minutes pasted and then my dad spoke

"I believe we should get going now, thank you again for inviting us Miss Manchango".

And with that we also went our different ways.

Back at work in my office as I stare out side through the wall that was made out of glass so it was a huge window.

Looking outside I couldn't help but think about what happened earlier today. As Jess eyes couldn't leave my head.

The pain I saw in them. Or how she looked so desperate for happiness.

I knew since the day I looked into her eyes I have seen other emotions except happiness and what happened today proved it all.

Still in thought before I was brought back into reality by a knock on the door.

"yes coming" I said. Turning around to see who it was. It was Jake my assistant.

"sir this is the number you asked for" he said and with that I collected it and he left immediately.

Opening it I brought out the paper and saw the number I was looking for.

Dialing the number. It rang for a while before she picked it up.

"hello" she said.

As her voice was cracking which means that she had being crying.

"Hey Jess it's... Jayden" I said. It was silent for a bit before she spoke.

"Jayden how did you get my number?" she asked.

"well I have my ways" I replied back.

She chuckled before replying and that made me smile "so what do u want now Mr Ross cause well... I'm a bit busy" she said sounding so down.

"well I wanted to tell you something" I replied then continued "I want to say that you don't need to sign the papers. We could find another way out" I added.

"Well... thanks for your concern but I'll be alright... I can decide for myself"

She said and with that she ended the call.

Huh??!
