/ First Person Protagonist POV /

Don't come back for me.... Those were most likely the last words I would ever address to someone from the Resistance, Poe, Finn, Rey, and Leia, and it pained me more than I admitted. I was flying out into the Outer Rim Territories towards The Supremacy, in a Resistance X wing fighter, and I had to come up with a plan not to get blasted on sight when I was at reach of The Supremacy's impressive weaponry and defense systems.

Ok, y/n. You got this. They won't kill you. The Supreme Leader will know you're on his side if you tell him you escaped the Resistance with the sole purpose of fulfilling your destiny?  Because that is what you're doing, y/n. Following the path Snoke has ordered for you. I tried reassuring myself, but the truth is: I was frightened. I was scared to have left the warmth and safety I felt in D'Qar to go condemn myself to become a living statue of a Praetorian Guard on the cold and unwelcoming atmosphere of The Supremacy, but if my nightmare had been a vision like I knew it was, I would do anything in my power to not make it happen.

The X wing was flying steadily through the Outer Rim Territories, and it didn't seem like any Resistance Pilots would come stop me. I sighted in relief, there was only one more obstacle to face and I would be in The Supremacy, and that obstacle was the 60km ship itself. I leaned back against the pilot seat in the compact area and closed my eyes, getting the little amount of sleep I had missed.

I dreamed of Kylo. Of the times we had spent together, and of little memories that seemed so insignificant, but they were like gold to me.

Months ago, when I was heading to training with him, I had arrived five minutes earlier, even though I knew Kylo didn't like me being early, I had decided to do so anyways. The doors had swooshed open, and I had walked inside the training lounge, expecting him to yell and ground me for being early, but he wasn't there, which I found odd.

I remembered I had remained countless minutes stretching, but he never came, even when it was seven, he never showed up. It was strange, because I knew Kylo was on The Finalizer, and he never missed a training. I had walked out and decided to go find him, which I had thought was probably not a good idea, but I had done it anyways.

I had wondered around The Finalizer, reaching the command room,  but he wasn't there either, and before Hux would notice my presence and annoy me with his arrogant existence, I had slipped away. I hoped I wouldn't get lost or in any trouble for wondering around the ship, but I knew the stormtroopers wouldn't say anything about me walking around: I had gained the respect and superiority for being Kylo's apprentice.

There was only one other place I knew in which Kylo could be: The private living quarters. I hadn't thought about how awkward and wrong it was until I had arrived before the massive black doors, but there was no going back. I entered and headed towards the same hallway OC- 7234 had ordered me to follow when I had been taken from D'Qar, heading towards the only black metal door at the far end of it.

I didn't know whether to knock or patiently wait until something would happen, so I remained at the door for countless minutes. I could feel his presence behind the walls of the room, and I had grown impatient of waiting pointlessly, so I walked in as if I owned the place, not realizing the mistake I had done before it was too late.

Kylo's living quarter was impressive, of course, I didn't expect nothing less for the commander and rightful proprietor of The Finalizer, but I couldn't help but be surprised by the modernity and luxury of his residence. I had remained contemplating it for so long I hadn't noticed Kylo stood in front of me... shirtless, with a medical droid by his side, that had quickly left as I took conscience of him being there.

" Y/n." He said in an emotionless tone, as I was used to.

I remained silent. Out of all possible outcomes, I had never expected Kylo to be: late for training, in his living quarters at this time, and shirtless. I tried not to stare at his bare torso, and forced myself to look into his chestnut eyes, that were glancing directly at me. " M- master Ren. I- I'm so sorry! I didn't see you at t- training, and I thought I-" I tried muttering legibly, but I had stopped talking as Kylo stepped closer to me.

" What are you doing here?" He asked, as if I hadn't just answered that question. I looked at his neatly polished boots as I tried to get rid of the hot blush that was settling on my cheeks. " M- Master Ren." I whispered, but received no answer. " Your bandage. It isn't properly wrapped." I muttered, as I looked back into his eyes.

Kylo lifted an eyebrow and slightly turned his head to the side. " Is it not? I doubt the medical droid would make a mistake in such an easy task." He replied in a little bit of sarcasticness. I furrowed my eyebrows slightly and breathed deeply many times before speaking again, " Ky- Master Ren. Could I demonstrate how it is not properly applied?" I regretted those words as soon as I spoke them. I had just offered to touch Kylo's bare torso to fix his bandage, that sheltered a wound some resistance member had inflicted on him while he was gone on a small mission.

" So be it, apprentice." He stated firmly, and my heart had stopped beating for a split second. Kylo sat so causally on the counter of his beautiful kitchen, and I couldn't help but feel more nervous as I approached him with caution. His stare remained neutral so easily, while I had to force my sweat to stop dripping from my forehead as I untied his bandage, my fingers accidently brushing his bare skin.

I tried to fix it as fast as I could, but I was very jittery and my hands wouldn't stop shaking. After minutes of being in the most awkward situation in the poor memories I had, I was finally done replacing his bandage, and I knew I had done it correctly. Kylo remained silent for a couple of seconds, before lifting both his eyebrows and slightly nodding his head. " Well done, y/n."

There was something about the way my name rolled out from his tongue that sent shivers down my spine, especially since Kylo was seated on a counter, and I was in front of him, inches away from his beautiful yet cold face, and I couldn't help but look at his perfectly, full lips. Y/n! Stop it with that! He's your superior, and you're his apprentice. Snap out of it! I grounded myself as I stepped away from him.

" Y/n..." Came the voice of Kylo, but then I could only see his lips moving but no sound coming out of his mouth.

I shot up from leaning on the pilot seat in the X wing. It was a dream y/n. A dream of one of the golden memories I would always have stored in my mind. I didn't know how long I had been sleeping, and I looked around me, I wasn't in the Outer Rim Territories anymore, and as I saw in front of me, I could distinguish in the close distance a massive Mega Class Star Dreadnought: The Supremacy.

AHCFIEFNUWAR. The dream tho-

I just had to put that in there. I meannnnnn a scene I hadn't written about you and Kylo?! NO WAY.

I absolutely L O V E D  I T! I'd love to know if you did too!

I was writing this chapter, and I just thought to myself: I should just make the protagonist dream about a moment with Kylo, because it's adorbs and I just can't deal with how perfect Kylo is.

Hope you enjoyed the chapter! And wherever you might be, I hope you have a fantastic day filled with laughter and joy. And if you are heading to sleep, then I wish you the best rest with dreams of our dark side prince!
