Chapter 69, Returning 'home'

/ First Person Protagonist POV / 

" What do you mean, you know?!" I exclaimed loudly as I stood up and almost tripped, I had forgotten the ship was shaking like crazy. " You head justly: I knew you were the Crimson Hunter since the start." I paced around the cockpit in small circles, trying not to fall. " How does everyone know?! Did Djarggi tell you while I was unconsciously taking out the dagger from my abdomen back in Kijimi?!" I asked Mando. He let out a chuckle and shook his head. What does he find so funny in this?! I tried my best to keep it a secret, and everyone just happens to figure it out! I scowled. 

" It's quite funny you think I wouldn't realizer sooner or later anyways." Mando said, leaning against his co pilot seat. " You see, I'm a bounty hunter, I'm trained to pay great attention to everything. First off, you called me Mando without me telling you that was my pseudonym." I sat back down and held my head with my hands, sighting. " I did? I tried so hard not to! I didn't even notice." I grumbled. " Plus, you're the exact same height and figure as the Crimson Hunter, it kind of gave you away." Mando added.

I stared at him with a frown. " Of course, you just memorized my height. As if no one else measured the same as me." I sarcastically commented. " And, that's just weird. Like, really, really, creepy. Do you usually do this? Tell your bounties: ' Oh, yeah. I know you, I recognized your height instantly'." I mocked. I knew Mando was staring at me from behind his mask in annoyed disbelief, and I couldn't help but start laughing uncontrollably. 

" I can't deal with this right now." He muttered as he stood up and headed out of the cockpit. 

I couldn't stop laughing. It had been so long since I had laughed, and it felt very enjoyable. " Excuse me ma'am." I turned to see who had addressed me, it was the droid piloting Mando's ship. " If you continue this laughter, I'm afraid to say your stitches might come undone." They said in a robotic tone. I stopped my burst of chuckles instantly and stood up, smiling meekly at the droid and leaving the cockpit as well. 

I wondered around the small corridors, looking for Mando, but he was nowhere to be found. " Where are thou, Mandalorian bounty hunter?" I yelled out in humor, as my voice echoed through the corridors. Mando shortly came out of a door on the far corner of the corridor I was walking down, with something in his hand. " Where are thou, peace and silence on my ship?" He mocked, trying to mimic my voice. 

I rolled my eyes and walked towards him, curious to see what he was holding. " Here." He said, handing me a bulk of clothing. " For me? You didn't have to!" I replied sarcastically as I acted out being exaggeratedly grateful. Mando scoffed humorously and turned around, walking back to the cockpit, with me following behind. " When did you decided to act so confortable around me, C.H? I'm a bounty hunter and I've hunted you down." 

I thought about his question for a couple seconds: it was true, I did act natural around Mando, as if we were long time friends. I felt I had known him for years, and it felt nice to have someone to call a friend. " I don't know. And since when do you call me C.H? We're on best friend terms now?! Plus, you didn't really hunt me, Djarggi did. You just stole his bounty." I mentioned, trying to annoy him.

" You're quite annoying, you know that, right?" Mando mentioned as he sat back down on the copilot seat. " Nope. Haven't been told that very often. Not like I was allowed to speak my mind back on The Finalizer." I muttered as I also took a seat in a chair behind Mando's.

" Tell me, why did they want you? The Final Order?" Mando asked as he turned his chair back around to face me. " And, you're not fighting back to escape, meaning you kind of want to go back." He commented.

" You're a smart guy, Mando. But, it's quite a confusing story..." I mumbled, not wanting to go into much detail. " I was taken by the Final Order, that was the First Order at the time, almost a year ago, because I was force sensitive and-" I interrupted myself. " Mando! Did you take the lightsaber with you?!" I exclaimed, standing up. " Yes, I did. I wouldn't be foolish enough to leave such a dangerous weapon on the streets of a city filled with spice runners and smugglers." Mando replied, and I sighted in relief.

" Can I... Have it back?" I asked doubtful. " No." Mando replied coldly. " I'm turning it in to the Final Order once we arrive at their star destroyer. D8-X2, how much time left to arrive?" Mando asked the piloting droid. " A couple minutes sir." The robot replied. Mando turned his chair back around and started pushing on buttons and turning switches again. " Go get changed with the clothing I gave you. I do  not want the Final Order to see you in that state. I want no trouble whatsoever." Mando instructed coldly, and I did as he said.

I stepped out of the cockpit and walked back into the shiny white room were I had woken up. The clothes Mando had given me were a little big: the pants were too long and the sleeves from the shirt fell atop of my hands, but at least it was better than the ripped clothing I had that were stained with my blood. Could be worse. I thought to myself as I walked back out towards the cockpit.

" Hey, y/n. Check it out." Mando told me as I sat back down on the chair. He pointed towards the cockpit's windowed wall, that showed out space and... The Finalizer in a short distance.

I couldn't help but smile, I was finally back, I was once and for all returning to the place I had learned to call home.

I WANT A FRIENDSHIP LIKE MANDO'S AND THE PROTAGONIST'S.

They're just those friends who get on each other's nerves all the time but somehow still remain friends. 

AND WE'RE BACK TO THE FINALIZER. BACK WITH KYLO!!!!!! :D

I really liked the past few chapters with Mando, I find him to be a great character! Thank you once more @DepressedMarvel , to have suggested him to appear! Such a great idea!

I can't wait to post more chapters today! Have a wonderful day or night!
