" Vizsla's temple?!" I echoed astounded.

Pha Stett didn't reply, she kept her gaze and determined pace deeper into the forest of tall trees. At least here, the snow is less dense. I thought to myself, having trouble keeping up with my master in the darkness.

" Wait, master Pha Stett." I sighed, stopping in my tracks, so did she, a couple yards in front of me. " Why are we going there? What's the meaning of all this?" I insisted.

" The song you've recited, " Pha Stett huffed, " as I told you before, I haven't heard it in a long time."

She walked towards me, crossing her arms over her chest. " That 'lullaby' is an old Mandalorian melody. One I've only seen scribed in an ancient scroll found among Tarre Vizsla's possessions in the temple."

" B- but master? How?" I stuttered. The cold was getting to me, making my teeth chatter. " I've never been inside that temple, much less ever read or even seen an old Mandalorian scroll!"

" I know that, young one. That is what I find almost preposterous. That song is from the times before the old republic, the time of Tarre Vizsla himself. That is more than a thousand years ago." Pha Stett said, pinching the bridge of her nose.

She mumbled some things to herself before walking up to me and grabbing my wrist, walking in the direction of the temple once more. " There may be an explanation, but it seems impossible, and yet I'm sure it might be the only reasonable explanation." Pha Stett told me, letting go of my hand when she knew I was following her.

" Tell me, master." I insisted.

Me and Pha Stett walked into a small clearing in the middle of the dense forest. It appeared to be man made. In the center, there was a small stone building, that looked like it could only hold one person inside, like a sort of bunker entrance. The temple must be underground, I commented to myself.

" I need you to be honest with me, y/n." Pha Stett warned. " Of course, master. Always. When have I not been?" I replied, slightly furrowing my eyebrows. " If only you knew half the mischiefs you did as a kid and would blame it on your comrades." She laughed. " The list would be long."

I slightly rolled my eyes. " Yes, yes. Whatever master. You can count on my full honesty now."

" Have you experienced anything... different, or odd in the past year? Something that wasn't there before, something not normal." Pha Stett asked. " It could be anything, I wouldn't be able to specify. Memories you don't remember happened, knowledge or skills you didn't have before-"

" A voice?" I interrupted.

" A voice?" She echoed. " Yes. A voice could be possible. Why? Have you..." Pha Stett didn't finish her phrase, she didn't need to.

" Yes, master. A little whisper with a mind of its own, that I hear in my head. It doesn't always speak to me though. But it's there. I feel it now." I informed. I took deep breaths after saying that. It felt good to talk to someone about the conscience without the fear of being judged. " Especially now. More than I'd ever before."

" What does this voice tell you?" She asked.

" It's almost like a conscience. It's been there since I woke memory less in Tatooine. It has guided me, given me advice, sometimes life saving. Almost like it was trying to teach me." I explained. " I'm not crazy, master Pha Stett, you must understand. It's like someone living in my head."

Pha Stett slightly furrowed her eyebrows in determination. " I see... If my assumption is correct, you must go into the temple." She hummed.

" What assumption do you have?" I asked. Pha Stett shook her head. " Only going inside will explain. I couldn't possibly tell you if it wasn't going to be true."
