/ First Person Protagonist POV /

It had been hours since my encounter with Kylo, and I had decided to stay in my room. Even though I had told him I had a plan, which I kind of did, I still had to perfect it, which I knew I probably wouldn't do too good at. How exactly do you go from being a bounty hunter, disappear, and then expect another one to find you?! I thought to myself stressfully as I held my head with my hands. " No. This is not going to work..." I whispered to myself in despair.

Y/n, trust yourself. Let your instinct guide you on your quest. Came the little conscience in my head. I was startled: it hadn't said a word in a while. " Who are you?" I asked into the air, but there came no answer. " Oh my. I'm going completely out of my mind. I'm sure of it." I lamented as I shook my head. There was no way there was a little voice in my head with a mind of its own, as if someone was living inside my brain, but at the same time, if things like the force exist, then a I wouldn't be so surprised if the little conscience was real.

There was a soft, yet firm knock on the door, and I grabbed the black bag I had stored everything I possess inside of it, except for the green lightsaber, which I tied to my waist belt. Dammit! I forgot to ask Kylo if he was the one who put it in my bag when I left for The Supremacy! I exclaimed to myself as I shot a glance at the mirror to see if the hood and the mask covered my face better than ever.

I followed the Storm Trooper down the hall and he guided me towards the command room. Once again, I felt the fulfilling scent of my lover as I approached the command room. Let's hope Kylo is more confident with his plan now... I wished as I breathed deeply. I looked around the hall, and saw the other couple of bounty hunters, including Mando were also arriving at the same time I was, it didn't surprise me: of course the First Order would be punctual and precise.

This time, Kylo was facing our group as we entered the command room. I couldn't see his eyes behind his helmet, but I knew he was looking at me, and I was staring back at him, somehow trying to let him know that everything would be alright. Don't worry Kylo, everything will go as planned. I whispered in my thoughts, how I wished I could tell him that face to face.

'I know' Came a voice inside my head. Except this one wasn't like the conscience I had heard earlier, no. This voice was Kylo's. I shook my head and stared at him, I could feel his glance set on me. How did you do that? My thoughts are blocked... I asked in my head once again, in hopes he would reply telepathically once more. 'You did it first, y/n.' The thought popped in my mind. Dang, now that's cool. I joked. Not Kylo nor Rey had ever told me force sensitives could communicate via thoughts. Wait, Kylo... Does this mean you could... read my thoughts all along? I asked, not sure I wanted him to get the benefit of knowing the many things I thought about him.

I swear that if we wouldn't have been surrounded by other people, he would've let out one of his deep chuckles, but he didn't, he remained immobile. 'No... why? Did you want me to?' He joked. I rolled my eyes and sighted in annoyance, ok, bye. How do I turn this mind communication thing off? I asked him, but there came no reply. Well, there goes the answer to my question.

" The bounty." Kylo said in his electronic voice. " Isn't that what you've all been waiting for?" As he said that, a couple bounty hunters let out a short devilish laugh and grabbed onto their weapons. Yep. Totally not scary to be hunted by one of these. This is going to be super easy. I told myself sarcastically, in hopes to lighten my gloomy mood.

" Her name is y/n. No last name identified." Kylo said coldly as a couple troopers handed us a hologram of my face on it. Ok, he's going according to plan. I sighted in relief. " Find her, wherever she might be, and bring her to me... unharmed." Kylo continued instructing. " The hunter who brings her to the First Order, will be rewarded generously. Only if she is intact upon her arrival."

I could feel the exhales of annoyance coming from some of the bounty hunters, which sent shivers down my spine. " Why?" I turned around to see who had dared to speak up to Kylo, especially when they questioned his orders. Oh boy... This won't be good. I lamented as I looked at the man, who was now levitated into the air and was grasping his neck. I turned back and stared at Kylo, who had his arm extended and his hand in a 'U' shape. Is he... force chocking the bounty hunter?! I exclaimed in my head. I couldn't look, so I stared at my boots until I heard the falling of something heavy behind me.

Two storm troopers walked towards were the man had stood and carried him away. I didn't know if he was dead or unconscious, but knowing Kylo's short temper, I think he had passed away. The rest of the hunters became really quiet, as if they weren't breathing anymore, I did too. " As I was saying." Kylo firmly stated, as if he hadn't just killed somebody seconds ago. " Bring y/n unharmed, and you will get a generous reward. Now, off you go." He ordered as storm troopers guided us once more to the hangar we had arrived in.

We boarded a similar looking space shuttle as the one that had taken me from Nal Hutta and remained quiet until it took off. Most bounty hunters started getting their equipment, or rather weapons ready, and I skimmed the crowd, my eyes finding Mando's silver helmet. He wasn't packing like the other hunters were, he was sitting down on a metal bench, far from the group.

I walked up to him and stood in front as he had done when we had first met. " You're not getting ready?" I asked in my robotic voice. He looked away from the ground and stared at me, standing up. " No. Unlike the others, I like to plan out my hunts." He said briefly, as he started walking towards the crowd. Smart man, I thought to myself. " Plan out your hunts? Like, where to look and who to get information from?" I questioned as I followed behind him. " I won't unravel my hunting secrets, Crimson Hunter. But, as I've heard, you've got tricks up your sleeves as well." He mentioned as he took his leather bag and swung it over his shoulders. " I won't unravel my hunting secrets..." I mocked, mimicking him.

Mando let out a chuckle and shook his head. " I like ya. Maybe some day we'll go hunting for a big guy together, C.H." I couldn't help but smile behind my mask. Even if I knew that would be very unlikely to happen, it still gave me a feeling of joy. " You called me by my nickname, Mando." I pointed out. He shook his head and extended his hand for me to shake it.

" Good luck, and let the best hunter get the bounty, Crimson Hunter."
