Ding!

The sound of my laptop notification going off causes all eyes to turn to me.

After getting a long-ass lecture on how we should improve our company's security feature, you can say that I'm beat. Y/N is truly amazing but then again, did I expect anything less from the leader of SSFIRE?

She's intense though, we(빙 and I) need to train with her for an extra 2 hours a day for one month straight! That's like added hours to our daily training time.
It's not all that bad till you reminisce about her unremitting training.
*Shivers*
Even thinking about it makes you break out in cold sweat.

It's extremely painful to do and laboriously hard to endure by.
However, once you completed it, you can definitely feel the difference.
The effects are undeniable.

To be honest, 빙 and I didn't get too bad of a punishment. It was 슈라 and 슈중 who had have it worse.
Since they even failed to detect or even infer that there may be danger, (ie the arrows) they need to train with Y/N for an extra 4 hours daily for a month and is banned from using the lift for half a month. (Not just the company's lift, but lifts anywhere)
And when Y/N says prohibited she really means it.

Then again no one will cheat the punishment. At least no one dares to.

Why?

Well,  there's a penalty and let's just say that it isn't too pleasant.
It's like Y/N has eyes everywhere the moment you slack. You're doomed. I mean I love her and all, but damn she's scary when she has to be.

Good luck to their poor souls. Cause with all due seriousness, our meeting room is at level eighty. Welps.
They're so going to flop.

Anyways, I'm starting to get really uncomfortable at the stares they were giving me. Especially from the expectant look from Y/N. I opened my laptop hastily to check up on what just came in.

Looking up from the screen I spoke, mostly directed at Y/N "It's from BTS."

She grinned as she announced to all of us, "This is perfect timing. I'll brief you all on our collaboration with BTS."

"But not all of us are here?", 빙 asked noticing that one of our members is missing.

"Ah, you're talking about 용수(YongSu)? Don't worry he'll be here soon. He's currently still at his home country Singapore sorting out some matters before he flies over. I'll fill him in when he arrives so let's begin shall we?"

Y/N's face still held a smile though looking slightly smaller. It wasn't really noticeable unless you look closely enough.

Before Y/N disappeared, we could detect that something was up between her and 용수. As for what it was, we have no idea.

Yoongi's POV
Currently, I was sitting in the meeting room with everyone in except for Jimin and Taehyung. We were all waiting for their arrival.

However, I couldn't really concentrate in my seat. I knew this meeting is probably about something important but I just couldn't bring myself to even come remotely close to being attentive.

It was just then the door opened as both Jimin and Taehyung entered.

"Sorry, we're slightly late."

"Apologies accepted. Now sit down, both of you" Namjoon spoke.

"Alright, so today I'm going to tell you—"

I zoned out as Namjoon started his briefing. My mind swirled with thoughts as I began to formulate some sort of a reasonable explanation.
It was only when I heard something so disbelieving did I then snap out of my stupor.

"We're going to collaborate with SSFIRE.", Namjoon dropped the bomb.

Everyone's jaws dropped. Taehyung even fell off his chair upon hearing the news.
Gazing at Taehyung I noticed that he looked more in shock than anyone else. I could even see him mutter some things I can't make out to himself under his breath. Looking slightly distressed.
Sadly I couldn't read his lips.

"What do you mean Namjoon?" Hoseok asked.

"It means what exactly I've just said."

"B-but SSFIRE has vanished how can we work with them?", Jungkook blinked, voicing out his and also everyone else's confusion.

"SSFIRE, or more specifically Flame sent me an email yesterday asking for a collaboration against Ip corporations." Namjoon revealed.

"But how can you be sure that it was really Flame of SSFIRE who sent the email?", Jin hyung questioned.

"I don't. But I have a hunch that it is definitely real.", Namjoon answered.

I was nonplussed and so was everyone else. Namjoon was going to rely on pure instincts on this?!
When did Namjoon start relying on his own gut feeling?
He has never done something that has not been a hundred percent legit.
What changed?

"B-but—" Jimin voiced, looking quite bothered.

Deciding to give in some reason and logic, I asked "Why was it Flame that emailed you? Why not Ethereal? He's the leader right?"

Namjoon couldn't give an answer.

"Yeah hyung. Their leader Ethereal has disappeared. How can they function without someone to lead?" Jungkook added.

"It might be fake." Hoseok too added.

We laid out and put forward all the cogent arguments for Namjoon pressuring him to reconsider.  Namjoon's eyes wavered as I saw him beginning to doubt himself.

Even Jin hyung too thinks that it might not be real.

Looking at Namjoon, he seemed to have come to a rather hesitant conclusion, but an answer nonetheless.

Namjoon opened his mouth and was about to speak when the Taehyung who had been totally silent throughout this whole fiasco, proclaimed loudly and firmly, "We are definitely collaborating with SSFIRE."

Once again, for the nth time today, everyone was left astonished.

"Taehyung? And how would you know that?", Jin inquired kindly looking kind of worried at Taehyung's behavior today. Then again after peering at Taehyung, I too am relatively concerned for him.

Taehyung was about to say something when Namjoon's phone rang. Since his phone was on the table, we could all see as clear as day as to who was calling. It was a private number.

Who could be calling Namjoon?
I asked myself and by the looks of things, everyone else was too.

Namjoon's finger hovered above the red decline button when—

I hope you guys aren't expecting any sort of interaction/love scenes between Y/N and the boys. Because for maybe the next few chapters there won't be any. I hope you guys aren't disappointed.
