YOUNGYEON POV

Thoughts kept running into my head, I was carrying Sunghoon's stuff in my one hand and my other hand was holding Sunghoon's. We were both on the way to Eumji's restaurant to meet his uncle, Mingi.

"Hey noona?" Sunghoon called out and I faced him before humming back in response.

"I'm gonna miss Mr. Crazy Old Man. And you too, I actually go to school in Seoul, so if you and mister have time, you can visit me!" Sunghoon said and I gave him a small smile before nodding.

"Of course Sunghoon," I replied as I took him to the restaurant which was buzzing with different kinds of people early in the morning.

I slid the sliding door open, dragging the small boy inside with me before sliding it back. I walked towards the front counter where a certain brown-haired girl was facing her back at me.

"We would like to order," I smirked at her as she was still facing me from behind.

"Oh, I'm sorry miss- Youngyeon! You lil' bitch I missed you!" Eumji said quickly, then she shot me a small glare before hugging me, her arms around my neck as my body was squished forward at the counter.

"After a long time, you can't even recognize your own bestie's voice? I'm hurt," I rolled my eyes and Eumji slapped my arm before giggling.

"Hello Sunghoonie baby!" Eumji smiled at the small boy beside me and Sunghoon smiled back, a giggle escaping his lips.

"Mingi is on his way here, so both of you should wait over there," Eumji said and she gave me a smile before taking a plate of chicken and dashing towards where the customers sat.

After a few minutes, the bell above the glass doors rang and Sunghoon's eyes lightened up, looking at the person that just slid the sliding door open.

He was tall. Like really tall. Taller than Seokjin too. He had brown hair and small eyes, a tall nose, and he had a huge smile on his face. He wore an orange hoodie and some jeans as he looked over the place. He kinda resembled that rapper, Bobby from YG.

"Uncle Mi-gi!" Sunghoon giggled as he got off of his seat, making his way towards the man, carrying his backpack with him.

"Ey, little Hoonie! You smell like you just came from a billion-dollar mansion and ate expensive steak every dinner," Mingi replied as he knelt down, picking the boy up.

"Because I did come from a billion-dollar mansion! In fact, there was this mister and he was crazy and old and wrinkly! I learned a lot from him!" Sunghoon said and I laughed at how he described Seokjin.

"Oh! And you! You're Lee Youngyeon, right? Eumji's bestfriend! She told me you took care of Sunghoon for a while! I'm Mingi, her boyfriend," Mingi smiled cheerfully as he looked at me.

"Yeah, that's me. No need to thank me Mingi, Sunghoon is lucky to have an uncle like you," I replied and he set Sunghoon down before grabbing his hand, enclosing it in his.

"Where's Eumji? I was going to give her the stuff I bought while I was out of town, probably busy....," he trailed off.

Is this what it's like to be single?

"Ah nevermind! I'll just give it to her later, and these are for you, Youngyeon! I got you fresh rice cakes and fruits all the way from Geochang! Hope you like them!" Mingi beamed as he gave me the huge bag he had in his hand.

"Oh Mingi, it's totally fine! But thank you, I'll just share these with Mr. Kim, since he really helped a lot!" I smiled as I took his gift from him, bowing as well.
