Zelia's pov

Today is the day we go back to Hogwarts. First day of the seventh year. I don't have many emotions towards how I feel about going back. I hope that Draco will be attending but I have a feeling he won't be.

I, Daphne and Astoria are walking through King Cross station. I haven't said much. it feels weird being back. Like I'm not supposed to be here. I'm scared. I'm nervous.

We got to the wall and as soon as we walked through the wall, there are crowds of people everywhere. New first year's, parents and students everywhere.

Astoria went if with her friends and I and Daphne walked towards the train.

"Well hello, ladies" we felt someone's arms wrap around our shoulders. I looked up and saw Blaise with a smirk on his face.

"Our finale year at Hogwarts, how so sad," he said.

"I can't wait to leave" Daphne sighed.

"Have you seen Draco?" I asked.

"I haven't, no. Is he even coming" Blaise asked "it won't be the same if not"

"We have no idea," said Daphne.

I couldn't help but look down sadly. At this moment I had realised that Draco won't be here this year. I tried my hardest to hold in my tears.

"I'm sorry Zelia! I really am" Blaise said.

I looked up and smiled "it's okay" I lied.

The train journey was okay I guess. Nothing happened. We just sat there. something is off, and we know it. We know what's coming. And I'm absolutely terrified.

Once we arrived at Hogwarts we went to dinners. For some reason, I was expecting to see Draco. But I didn't, he wasn't there. I laughed to myself at how silly it sounded. I just want to help him or to be there for him.

We watched as the first hear got sorted into their houses. Again none of us said anything. Small talk. That was it. Blaise and Daphne seemed to be in a conversation but for me, it was like the world around me was dead silent and I could only hear faint voices. The only things I could hear is my thoughts and the sound of my heart beating.

We made our way back to the common room after dinner had ended. I followed lazily behind Daphne and Blaise. I couldn't help but think about why we are even at Hogwarts, I mean there's a war coming and we all know it. Pretending like it's not is not going to make it go away.

We entered the common room and we spent the rest of the night unpacking and talking with Blaise in the common room. I could tell they both knew something was wrong with me but didn't talk to me about it seeing as they knew the reason and knew he won't be here.

I rested my head on my hand and shut my eyes for a minute, I weakly opened them but they shot open immediately once I saw platinum blonde hair and a black suit. I watched as the figure left the common room.

My world stopped.

I stood up, quickly. I stared at the door. Tears prickling in my eyes.

"Zelia" I heard Daphne question.

"I'll be back," I said, barely a whisper. Before I ran out of the common room.

Once I stepped into the cold damp corridor of the dungeon, I saw the figure merely walk around the corner. Disappearing again.

I ran forward. Trying my best to go as quickly as I could. I followed the figure who was barely visible. I wanted to shout, I wanted to scream but my body wouldn't allow me too. I was in a state of shock.
