Draco's pov

I woke to Zelia missing from my bed. I remember I had woke up and went to grab Zelia but she wasn't there. I shot up immediately. Where was she?

I went to the bathroom but she wasn't there either. So I quickly put on clothes and went to her dormitory. I had bumped into Daphne on the way. She looked almost- scared.

I asked her what was wrong and she handed me a parchment. I dropped it on the floor after reading it. I turned around and ran through the corridors. Searching everywhere but she wasn't there. Nowhere. Fuck. I had completely no idea where she was. Fear and terror running through my mind.

I searched and searched until I saw Blaise and Daphne walking towards me.

"Have you found her?" I asked hastily.

"No, but-"

"But what" I interrupted Blaise.

"Something happened at Hogsmeade this morning," said Daphne.

"Ron was spotted talking to a girl in The Three Broomsticks," Said Daphne "snatchers chased the two of them into the woods, and well no one knows if they have been caught or are still hiding"

"We think Zelia might be the girl Ron was talking too," said Blaise.

"What the fuck! Why is she talking to him? For what reason"

"I'm not sure," said Daphne "she may return yet-"

"Not if they are being charged by snatchers. They'll take them to Voldemort" I yelled.

They didn't say anything back. I didn't care. I needed to be alone.

Zelia's pov

"Do you think they're gone?" I asked.

Ron peered over the fallen tree and slowly looked "I think so"

We started walking. And walking. And walking. We walked for miles. My legs felt like jelly and my feet ached. I'm tired, thirsty and starving. As I walked I couldn't help but think about what Draco is feeling. By now he would have found my note. I felt terrible but I know that I have to help Ron. Draco is safe at Hogwarts.

I also thought of the necklace my mother always had on. I always thought it was quite tacky. It was a small black string and then it had a small purple crystal attached to the end. It wasn't like her other necklaces. It wasn't beautiful and I didn't think it had meaning. Just a gift from my father. But I realise now that it wasn't.

I fiddled with the necklace I had around my neck. The necklace I took from that time we went back to the manor. I have worn it ever since.

"Okay," ron said as he stopped, "I think we should araparate here. Have you araparated before?"

"Yes, a few times" I replied.

"Okay, just think of the place where your mother is," he said as he took a hold of my hand.

I thought of Bala. The beautiful countryside. Fields and flowers everywhere. Small cottages and lakes to watch ducks and other pretty animals. Then I thought of the Salmeris Cemetery. Dark graves and a tall stone church. But with flowers at each grave. I had only been once when I was a child but I remembered every detail.

I felt my feet lift and we spun through the air until my feet landed on the hard ground once again.

I looked around and realised that we were stood just outside the cemetery. Just how I remembered it.

"Is this it?" Ron asked.

"Yes," I said as I looked around.

We walked through the cemetery, a few graves around small and large. We stopped once we had gotten to my mothers grave. A small stone building, locked with barred doors and a chain around it.

"Alohomora," said ron as he attempted to unlock the door. It didn't work.

"Let me try" I offered and be stepped out the way.

"Alohomora," I said. And the chains in locked and the door opened slightly.

"Guess it only works for ones with Salmeris blood," Ron said and he walked in as I followed behind him.

There was a stone coffin with my mother's name engraved on it, Tatiana Salmeris. I run my fingers along with the name, trying my best to hold in my tears.

"She would be proud of you" Ron smiled.

"I hope so" I smiled.

Without waiting anymore I moved the lid. Inside my mother laid. Almost complete bones. Her face is no longer beautiful. Her kind soft hands nothing more than bones. Bones holding a dead bunch of roses. A tear escaped my eyes as I looked at her.

"Don't look anymore," Ron said as he placed a hand on my shoulder "ill get the necklace, and you wait outside"

I nodded as more tears fell and I walked towards the barred doors and stepped outside. I looked up at the sky. The sun slowly setting behind a hill. The sky lit with a mixture of cool orange and yellow tones.

Suddenly I heard a loud woosh. The sound that can be heard when araparating. I looked to where the sound came from and saw a cloaked man and the two of the snatchers from Hogsmeade.

"Ron" I whispered loudly.

"Got it," Ron said "what is it"

I pointed to the three men "well that's no good" he said.

The cloaked man took his hood off and I almost fell at the sight.

"Bloody hell. Is that-"

"My father" I answered him.

"Run" I yelled as I grabbed his arm and he quickly ran behind me. I beard the snatchers running after us.

We ran through the cemetery while curse after course was being fired at us. A curse landed in between the two of us, separating us. We both fell to the side, hard. I looked to my left and saw the snatchers getting close.

"Zelia!" Ron yelled as he reached his arm out for me to grab.

I forced myself up and plunged forward gripping his hand. As soon as our hands touched we landed in the woods, somewhere.

We laid on the floor panting, I'm not sure what curse was fired but the side of my stomach was in pain and I could tell Ron's leg was hurt my the way he held it.

He then sat up and started patting the floor like he was looking for something.

"Ah got it," he said as he held the necklace up.

A relieved sigh escaped my mouth.
