Evelyn's POV

"How are you liking Tacoma?" Mom asks me.

"I like it, it's kind of close to my home. It reminds me of when I was young. I used to go to Tacoma when I was young." I say and she smiles.

"Well I'm glad you're liking it."

"Yep. Plus living with Sue and Pinoe is fun. They love me."

"Yeah we do." Pinoe says as she gets me in a headlock and messes up my hair.

"Leave my kid alone Pinoe." Ma says.

"Never."

"I'll be down here if anyone needs me." I say waving my hands.

"SUUEEE BIIIRD." Pinoe and I shout.

"I don't know how Sue does it with two children." Mom says.

"She loves us." Pinoe says and I give a thumbs up.

"Hey hey let her go. Only I can mess up her hair."

"Hi Ashy." I say as she crouches down.

"Whatcha doing down here?" She asks patting my cheek.

"My daily headlock that aunt Pinoe gives me." I say and she nods.

"She does this on a daily basis?" Ash asks and I nod.

"I do, yes." Pinoe says.

"Well then I can't take that away from her." She says getting up and walking away.

"Hey what the hell Ashy!" I yell.

"Pinoe leave my child alone." Ma says.

"Fine, but I'll be back tomorrow." Pinoe says letting me go.

"Yeah yeah I know."

Lauren's POV

"And go." I says as I blow the whistle.

"She got faster." Dawn says as she shows me the data.

"Wow that's definitely an increase." I say and she nods.

"The media isn't stopping about the last game." Paul says.

"Wouldn't be the same if they were men." I say with a shrug. "None will go out for a statement. I will do it soon."

"The statement you put out about the conference she held about her owning Louisville and Atlanta helped. They're backing off."

"Good as they should."

"Ladies! Back! Sonnett you can not cheat again." Tony shouts.

"Lauren you have a phone call." Jimena says.

"Can I call back?" I ask.

"Lauren it's urgent. Like 911 urgent." Jimena says and I nod.

"Dawn you and Tony are in charge." I say and she gives me a thumbs up.

I walk away from the field until I can find some quiet and no craziness.

"Hello?"

"Hello is this Coach Holiday?" A woman says.

"Yes this is her, how may I help you."

"I'm Andrea, Evelyn's sister-in-law. Marcos' wife." She says.

"Oh yes of course! How are you?" I ask and there is silence for a moment. "Hello?"
