Chapter 10

Evelyn's POV

"Okay I'm almost done!" I yell

"You're not hurt right?" Christen asks me

"You act like a mom then again I wouldn't know what a mom acts like" I say laughing

"Hey stop look at me" she says but I shake my head and continue working on her car "Evelyn look at me"

"I'm fine really" I say but I feel her arms wrapping around me and I give up so I turn around and hug her "Why do you give me love? Why do you care so much?"

"Oh sweetie you've been by yourself for four years now with no parental figure at all but guess what?" She asks and I look up "You have me now and I will treat you like my own daughter like if I gave birth to you"

"But you didn't"

"Don't ruin the moment"

"Yup sorry" I say and she laughs

"I love you and I will always be here for you anytime you need me you call me" I nod "now hurry up and finish so you can shower and get ready to leave"

"Don't remind me" I say with a groan

"Smokin' Evelyn!" I hear Kelley yell

"Mal! Come back that's my slice of pizza!" Lindsey yells and I shake my head

"Okay I'm done!" I say and wipe my face "It's all done Christen it should work just fine"

"Thank you! How much do I owe you?" She says and I furrow my eyebrows

"Nothing what do you mean?" I ask

"Come on let me give you something"

"Nope I'm good but I will accept a hug and a kiss right here" I say and point to my forehead

"You got it" Chris says and I smile as she comes to me

"My turn!" Kelley yells and my eyes widen

"No Kelley no! Don't jump on top of me I'm dirty!" I close my eyes waiting for Kelley to jump but I don't feel anything so I open one eye

"No one will be jumping on Evelyn" Alyssa says and I smile

"Thank you"

"No problem kid now go inside before Kelley tries to bite me"

"Got it" I say nodding then head into the hotel

Mal's POV

"She looked so hot working on cars" Sonnett says and I glare at her "Ooo mad Mal"

"Not mad but I'm going to my room to pack my stuff" I say and walk away

I get to my room but before I open I take a breather.

"Please don't be naked please don't be naked" I whisper to myself

I open the door and walk in to see the room empty but I hear the shower running as well as music. I grab my things as I start packing everything but I hear the door open from the bathroom making me turn around.

"Shit I didn't know you were in here already" Evelyn says as her towel was wrapped around her body

"Yeah just got here actually" I say

"Could you hand me my clothes? They're on top of my suitcase" she asks and I nod

"Here you go" I say

"Thank you" She says and goes back into the bathroom with her music on

"Fuck" I mumble. I jump onto the bed my face first and just lay there. I hear the bedroom open but I just lay there.
