Chapter 18

Evelyn's POV

"Evelyn! Evelyn! Pass!" I hear Alex yell and I look up while I kick it towards her and as soon as she gets the ball she puts it into the net.

"Yeah Al!" I yell and she runs to me

"Good job you did great" she says ruffling my hair

"Hey!" I pout as I point to my messy hair

"Aww you're such a cute little baby" she coos

"I'm not a baby"

"You act like one" She says and I gasp

"I am offended Alexandra Patricia or should I say baby horse!" I say crossing my arms

"Oh you're going to get it!" She says and I start running away

"Tobin help me! You're girlfriend is chasing me! HEEEELLP!" I yell

"Don't worry baby E! Aunt Kelley is coming to the rescue!" Kelley yells as I keep running away

"Why are you running! Come back here!" Alex yells but I shake my head as I continue to run until I bump into someone

"Oh shoot" I say as I fall on top of someone

"Ev I love you but get off"

"Sorry Abby" I say and kiss her forehead then get up

"Children leave Evelyn alone and Evelyn you need to go see Dawn she's asking for you" Becky says and I nod

"Bye baby horse!" I yell not looking back and walk towards Dawn. "I was summoned?"

"We need to run some tests on you to make sure you're healthy" Dawn says and I nod

"Cool sounds good" I say

"We need to draw some blood" Dawn says and she looks at me

"Awesome! I love seeing the blood come out it's cool to watch" I say and Dawn looks at me weirdly "What?"

"You're the first to say that the rest of the girls are either scared or act tough" She says and I laugh

"Ehh I just like to see it I know it sounds weird but it's cool" I say shrugging

"Alright well go sit down and I'll be right over" She says and I nod as I pull out my phone

"What's going? Are you okay" I look up to see Mal

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm good Dawn is just going to draw some blood" I say

"I don't like that it scares me, needles scare me" Mal says and I laugh but stop as she's being serious

"Oh you're serious?" I ask and she nods "Mal it's really not that bad"

"Yes it is" she says and I shake my head

"Oh good Mal you're here too I'll draw some blood from you after I finish with Evelyn" Dawn says and I laugh

"I'm good Dawn I'm healthy" Mal says and I raise my eyebrow

"Mal you don't have to be scared look" I say as Dawn places the needle in my arm

"Is it over?" Mal asks and I look up to see her with her eyes closed

"Yup" I lie and she opens them to see the needle

"You're a liar!" Mal yells and I laugh

"Sorry not sorry Mallory" I say

"I don't like my name" she frowns

"It's a nice name Mal don't complain"

"Alright Evelyn you're all good to go but stay here for a little bit so you don't pass out" Dawn tells me and I nod "Alright Mal your turn"
