Chapter 2

Evelyn's POV

"There's a bus coming!" Pam yells and I groan

"Stupid busses there's always a lot of people to feed and attend" I say

"Here they come!" Adrian yells and I start to hit my head on the wall repeatedly

"Fuck fuck fuck I'm tired" I mumble when I hit my head on the wall

"Alright now go attend them!" Pam yells and I nod

I walk over to the big group of people and get my notepad out ready to write.

"Hello welcome to Smitty's can I start you guys off with some drinks?" I say and look up and I think I almost chocked on my saliva because I see the uswnt right in front of me and I panic. Alright Evelyn calm the fuck down

"Hi yes can we get ten iced teas, seven sprites, and ten waters" Alex says and I nod

"I'll be back shortly with your drinks" I quickly walk away

Kelley's POV

"Guys food!" I yell

"Yes ladies we will be stopping for food so everyone off!" Jill says and we nod

"I'm not going to lie I'm hungry" Mal says

"Get a seat! Baby Mal is hungry!" Alex yells

We all sit down at this cute little diner as someone comes up to us.

"Hello welcome to Smitty's can I start you guys off with some drinks" The girl asks us and I look up only to see the girl we were watching just not even an hour ago. The girl finally looks up and her eyes widen she obviously knows who we are.

"Can we get ten iced teas, seven sprites and ten waters" Alex says and the girl nods

"I'll be back shortly with your drinks" she says and walks away

"Is she really working on a Wednesday night after a game that literally took all of her energy?" I say

"Why would she do that? Doesn't she have school tomorrow I mean it's nine it's really late for her to be here and work" Sam says and I nod in agreement

"Adrian! You little! Now my shirt is all wet!" The girl says as the guy laughs

"Come on don't be mad you love me" He says

"Adrian don't make her mad or I'll hit you with the hot spatula" an old lady says

"Adrian take the other two trays!" The girl yells

Soon enough they both come back to our tables with our drinks

"Ten iced teas seven sprites and ten waters" the girl says as she sets down the drinks. I try looking for her name tag but it's nowhere to be found "are you guys ready to order?"

"I think so" Alex says and one by one she starts taking our orders poor girl we're so many

"Alright I'll be back with your food in a while" she says and leaves

"So can we talk about how she'd definitely bring so much potential to the team" Becky says

"I mean I think she runs faster than Press" I say

"Mal thoughts?" Tobin asks but no answer so we all turn around and look at Mal looking towards the girl

"Mal!" I yell and she finally reacts

"What?" She asks

"Our baby Mal has a crush on the girl" I tease

"No I don't! I was just spacing off thinking about something else" Mal says

"Sure Mal whatever you say"

Mal's POV

"Who got the French toast with bacon, sausage links, eggs and a side of two pancakes?" The girl asks

"Yeah that would be me" I say

"Alright it's hot so be careful I don't want you to burn yourself" she smiles at me and I think I'm blushing

"Thank you" I say

"Pleasure is all mine" she said with a nod as I smiled at her "If you guys need anything let me know" she smiles and walks back to the counter

"Do your homework it's really slow right now so start doing it I don't want you behind in school" the old lady tells the girl

Evelyn's POV

"Excuse me!" Someone yells so I look up and walk to the table of the team

"Yes do you guys need something?" I ask

"Can we get some more napkins?"

"Oh yes of course" I say and grab more napkins

"Thank you"

"Of course" I smile and walk back to the counter

"What are you doing?" Adrian asks me

"Math homework Adrian"

"What math?"

"Calculus"

"Calculus?!" He yells and everyone looks over to us "isn't that like super hard?"

"Nope" I say shaking my head and looking back down

"Wow you are smart who knew" he says and I slap his head "ow!"

"That's what you get for being a loser" I say laughing as I walk over to the uswnt "I'm not telling you guys to leave but here's the balance"

"It's all good thanks" Ashlyn says and I think I'm dying

Kelley's POV

"Calculus?!" The guy yells and we all look over to them "isn't that hard" he asks and the girl shakes her head

"Look Mal if she was older and at camp the same time you were she could've helped you with math" I nudge Mal

"Yeah yeah shut up" Mal mumbles

"I'm not telling you guys to leave but here's the balance" she says

"It's all good thanks" Ash says and the girls face literally changes as if she's going pass out. How cute

"Do we leave her a tip?" I ask

"Yes what are you dumb?" Sonnett says

"Well I mean no?" I say

"Alright girls lets head back out" Jill says and we all get up and start heading out the door

"Have a good night thank you for the food" we all say

"Have a good night!" The girl says

We all got back on the bus waiting for Jill to pay the bill until she finally came.

"So coach what's her name?" Tobin asks

"I will not say" Jill says

"Why not! We want to know this girl has some serious game!" I yell

"If I call her up you guys will know then but for now no more questions"

"Wait does that mean you are calling her up?" Alex questions

"Maybe and maybe not" Jill says and we all groan
