Christen's POV
"MOMMY HELP!" I hear Julieta yell from outside
"Kelley leave her alone and Sonnett stop throwing water around" I say as I go out to the back
"You're no fun Chris we were just playing around isn't that right J" Kelley asks Julieta but she shakes her little head "Betrayal"
"Mommy" Julieta says as she tugs on my shorts
"Yes baby?"
"Pancakes" she says pointing to her mouth
"Come on baby let's go make pancakes" I say as I pick her up and place her on my hip
"Hey babe" Tobin says as she pecks my lips
"Hey what about me?" Julieta says as she tilts her and pouts
"You want a kiss too?" I ask and she nods
"Pleeaasee I want kiss too"
"Come here" Tobin says as she grabs Julieta from me and holds Julieta in front of her. Julieta places her hands on Tobin's cheeks as she pats Tobin's cheeks.
"Kiss!" Julieta yells and I laugh. Tobin then leans to kiss Julieta, trying to kiss her nose but Julieta got her lips. "Kiss"
"Oh you wanted a kiss like I gave Chris?" Tobin asks
"Mhmm"
"You should've just said that princess" Tobin says
"I did I said kiss, mommy Toby is silly" Julieta says as she places her head on Tobin's shoulder
"She is isn't she now come on let's go make some pancakes" I say as we walk to the kitchen
"Morning" Mal says as she walks down the stairs
"Woah what is up with your hair?" Kelley asks Mal
"Shut up I'm tired" Mal mumbles
"Well we're going to make pancakes so go wash up then come back and at what time did Ev go to school?" I ask Mal
"Like six thirty I don't understand why she left so early"
"I mean it is her last day of high school she's also missing her graduation I think she wants to soak it all in we do leave in two days" Ash says and I nod
"True anyway I'm going to shower I'm really tired"
"You go do that" I say
Evelyn's POV
"Coach J" I say as I hug her
"I'd say go make us proud but you've done that for four years now, but this time go make this country proud. I'm really proud of you Evelyn" Coach J says and I sniffle
"Thank you for everything really thank you for giving me a place to stay when I was kicked out, for helping me find a job and thank you for just being the best" I say as I hug her tight
"I'll miss you and don't forget about us so come visit when you have time"
"I will don't worry this is my home I'll always come back" I say and she nods
"Go get em' Evelyn" she says with a smile
"Bye"
"Goodbye Evelyn remember you're always a cadet"
I turned around as I headed out of her office into the locker room. Looking at my locker for the last time, taking down my name tag. Once I finished cleaning my locker I headed to my last class.
"QB!"
"Chase my man!"
"Dang QB you're really leaving aren't you?" He asks and I nod "I don't think I've ever said this but I'm proud of you and I love you"
"Thanks Chase really" I say and he hugs me
"I'm really going to miss you QB" I hear him sniffle
"Chase are you crying?"
"Shut up let me be QB you've been like a little sister to me I don't want to let you go" he says and I feel a knot in my throat
"Come on Chasey don't make this harder you're going to make me cry" I say and he pats my back
"You go show everyone you're the best out there and prove everyone who thought you weren't going to make it that you did it" he says and I smile
"You remembered" I say and he chuckles
"I bet you all the money in the world she'll be watching and she'll think dang that was the student I treated like shit and she's proving me wrong"
"I was like eight" I say as I wipe my tear
"And yet she was the teacher who doubted you the most but you didn't let that stop you" he says and I hug him
"You do good in college okay?" I say and he nods
"Watch me in the NFL soon"
"I'll be waiting" I say with a smile
"So long QB"
"I'll see you soon I promise"
"Keep that promise Evelyn" he says with a smile and walks away. I stood there eyes widened.
"Did he just call me by my actual name? Woah well that's a first" I say
"Ev!" I hear someone yell and I turn around
"Kayla" I say and she starts crying as she hugs me
"I love you don't you forget that" she says and I chuckle
"I won't Kayla but make sure Chase goes to his classes in college" I say and she sniffles
"I will trust me" she says
"I expect a wedding invitation" I tease her
"Oh shut up" she says as she shoves me and I laugh
"He loves you Kayla he does" I say and she smiles
"I love him too" she says and I smile
"Go kick butt in college with Chase"
"Go kick ass in France" she says as she kisses my cheek "I love you E"
"I love you too K" I say and she hugs me one last time
That's the end of this hell hole.
"Come on Daisy let's go home" I say and she nods
"Will you miss everything?" She asks me as we get to my car
"In a way yes I mean I pretty much grew in school" I say and she pats my knee
"Let's go home shall we? I bet all your aunts are waiting for you and probably going to throw you in the pool"
"Oh please no I don't want to go in the pool" I groan
"They are kind of crazy what else can you expect from them?" Daisy says and I laugh
"I'd expect something crazy stupid and even dangerous" I say and she laughs "You ready to go to France?"
"I'll be cheering you on with Julieta from the stands" she says and I smile
"Shall we get home and see what crazy thing they'll do?"
