Evelyn's POV
"Do we have to tell her" Mal whines
"Yes because if we don't and she finds out somehow she'll just kill you and this way she'll be maybe calm" I say as we get to Christen's door "Okay let's go in"
"After you" she says and I nod as I open the door to her room
"Hi mom" I say as I sit down next to her "Hi Toby"
"Hi guys" Mal says
"Hi Mal hi baby everything okay?" She asks and I nod
"Hey kiddo! Hey Mal" Tobin says and Mal just smiles
"I need to talk to you" I say and she puts her book down immediately
"What's wrong? Who hurt you? Did Pinoe laugh again?" Chris says and I shake my head
"No none of that" I say
"Okay then?" She says and I gulp
"Well you see" I say and wave to Mal so she can come by my side
"See what?" She asks and I laugh nervously
"I'm dating your daughter!" Mal blurts out as she covered her mouth immediately and Chris's eyes widen
"Oh so close" I say as I snap my fingers
"I'm sorry did I hear right? You two are dating" Christen asks and we both nod
"Yeah okay that's it bye!" I say and pull Mal with me to the door
"Not so fast kiddo" Tobin says as she stands in front of the door
"Come on Toby let us go before SHE comes and strangles us" I say and she shakes her head so I turn around and I see Christen right there "AH! Oh hi mom"
"Don't hi mom me young lady! Now both of you go sit NOW!"
"Yeah okay come on Mal"
"DIFFERENT BEDS!"
"Alright woman we heard" I mumble
"So Mallory you're dating my baby" Christen says and Mal nods "When did this happen?"
"Two nights ago"
"How did this happen?"
"Don't answer Mal!" I say
"She was playing the guitar and singing but she didn't know I had gotten back to the room so after she finished I confessed!" Mal said rapidly
"Seriously Mal?"
"She's scares me!" Mal says and I groan
"One job Mal UNO!"
"She's terrifying Ev!"
"Baby?" Christen says and I gulp
"Y-Yes?" I say
"Are you happy?"
"I mean it's only been two days but so far yes she's very comfy to sleep with" I say and my eyes widen as I realized what I said
"IT WAS JUST ONCE!" Mal says
"Alright alright calm down" Chris says and I sigh in relief "I actually have something to tell you as well"
"Me?" I ask and she nods "What is it?"
"Just like you I'm dating someone" she says and my jaw drops
"WHO IS DATING MY MOTHER! I DEMAND TO KNOW!" I yell
"Yeah that would be me" Tobin says and my eyes widen
"TOBY!" I yell as I run and push her on the bed "Don't hurt my mother or I will hurt you"
"Y-Yeah understood"
"Since when?" I ask
"Coincidence or not two nights ago as well"
"Sheesh did you both have this planned?" I ask both Mal and Toby
"No!" They both say
"Hmm okay"
Christen's POV
"Can I talk to you alone?" Ev asks me
"Of course" I say and both Tobin and Mal leave the room "What's wrong?"
"If I ask you something will you get mad?"
"Depends on what it is pumpkin" I say as she sits next to me and lays her head in my lap
"It's about your family" she says and I furrow my eyebrows
"They're your family now too" I say and she turns around to face me, her face was unreadable. "What is it?"
"Is grandma gonna make it?" She asks and I feel my heart stop "No forget it, forget I asked, I'm going back to my room with Mal"
"No no come here it's okay" I say as I pull her back into me "Tell me what really is bothering you"
"I'm scared"
"Of what?"
"You know what" she says and I sigh as I run my fingers through her hair
"I'm scared too baby but if it happens then it happens, things happen for a reason" I say and I feel tears "Hey look at me pumpkin it'll be alright"
"Can we go see her after we get back from Spain next week?"
"Of course we can" I say and she smiles
"Awesome!"
"You know she loves you" I say and she smiles "She sees you as her real granddaughter"
"I love her too a lot she's grandma and she's the best one! Even if I have only known her for less than three months"
"I know baby" I say
"Mom?"
"Yes?"
"Who do you think is cuter me or Toby" she asks and my eyes widen
"You of course" I say as I kiss the top of her head
"Good answer" she says and I laugh
"Who do you love more me or Mal?" I ask as I raise my eyebrow
"You of course" She says
"Good answer" I say and she laughs
"I love you"
"I love you too now go be with Mal"
"Oh you mean my girlfriend? She's pretty"
"No sex young lady!" I yell
"We'll see! No sex with Tobin either!" She yells and my jaw drops
Mal's POV
"I'd lay here with you forever" I say
"You might as well date the pillow instead of me" Ev says and I laugh
"Come lay down with me Ev" I pat the bed as she gets out of her bed and comes to mine "Better?"
"A lot better" she mumbled against my neck
"You're such a baby"
"Well I am seventeen"
"Go to sleep already you goof" I say as I peck her lips
"You have soft skin"
"Me? No but you do also god look at these abs" I say as I run my hand on her abs which makes her flex them "They're all mine"
"Let me sleep Mal"
"Oh now you want to sleep"
"Yes so shh"
