Madi looked around the hospital with shock. "Come on," Scott said seeing his mom. He held up her food for her when she noticed them.

She quickly walked over to them with a smile, "I'm starving." Madi smiled lightly in amusement as she took the dinner immediately. "Oh- I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Thank you for bringing me dinner."

She brought her children into a quick hug, "Is everything ok?" Madi asked.

"Except for half the accident victims in a ten car pile-up being rerouted here from downtown and the E.R. Attending not answering any of his pages yeah I'm okay." Melissa panicked.

"What does not answering pages mean?" Scott asked.

"It means that nobody can find him." Madi answering, mentally hoping this had nothing to with the sacrifices.

"Yep so now we have to wait for the on call to get here." Their mom added.

"Miss." A women grabbed their mom's attention.

"Yes?"

"Excuse me, can I kind of please have something for the pain." She whimpered.

Melissa sighed, "okay, I'm sorry, I know. But actually giving you something could complicate things." Melissa looked back at her kids before walking slowly the woman to a chair. "So we really just need to wait for the doctors. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Okay," Melissa looked at the nurse behind the desk, "How much longer on Dr. Hilyard."

"Ten minutes." The nurse responded as Madi moved Scott out of the way so a stretcher could pass. Scott then sat next to the woman who was wimpering in pain.

"Uh, you know I think that I read online that sometimes human contact can help with pain." Scott said, Madi's mouth turning upwards a tiny bit knowing what he was doing.

Scott gently put his hand on the woman's hand, the women gasping in relief as the pain went from her to Scott.

"Someone- Someone help me!" Madi heard an all too familiar voice.

Her and her brother looked, seeing Ethan carrying Danny into the hospital, "I need help!" Ethan yelled.

Madi immediately ran up to them, she helped Ethan carry Danny to a chair, her mother and brother following them.

"Gentle, gentle, gentle!" Melissa exclaimed as they slowly put him in the chair, Danny screaming in pain.

Madi looked at Ethan, grabbing his shirt. "What the hell ddi you do to him?" She asked with anger.

"Nothing!" Ethan snapped back, "He said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing, but it- it just kept getting worse."
