AN: Welcome to your author continuing to project the fact that I desperately want to meet a cute girl at a bookstore and fall in love with her.

More book store AU's that is soft fluffy adorableness (this is going to be a short-ish chapter)

AN: Lena is a famous actress running away from paparazzi when she stumbles into a back alley and finds Kara's small bookstore.

3rd Person POV

Lena pants heavily as she turns another corner running from the flashing lights and screaming voices of fans behind her. She sees a hidden alleyway and before thinking twice the raven-haired woman dashes down it.

The mob flies past her hiding spot and continues on screaming for her to stop, telling her they love her, calling her name doing anything to try and get her attention.

Lena had heard it all before. She loved her fans with all of her heart but they didn't understand respecting her personal time or space.

She was 2 her mother forced her to audition for her first commercial.

From there Lena never got a normal life. Never even knew what a normal interaction was because everyone always wanted something from her.

She never had a healthy relationship. Even with her family because they were always taking her money.

Well her family is now in jail for attempted murder so you can see why Lena didn't really care about what they thought or did anymore.

Lena was about to walk back out and call her driver when a store sign caught her attention.

Danvers Bookshop and Emporium

Lena had never heard of it. She was planning on ignoring it but when she heard more fans screaming her name she didn't hesitate and ran inside.

Lena's POV

I release a sigh of relief as I slowly catch my breath from running away.

"Welcome in. Can I help you?" I jump at the voice, finally taking in my surroundings.

I turn and find a tall blonde in a flannel sitting behind the counter. The store was wall-to-wall bookshelves of every genre imaginable. Blue eyes shined behind black-rimmed glasses as she stared me down.

"I'm sorry?" I question.

"Can I help you?" She asks again as she sets down her book and stands from the chair. "Are you looking for a particular book? This place can be confusing to find books the first time yo are in here." I continue giving her a blank look so she continues "This is in fact a bookstore. Do you want a recommendation? We also buy books back from people but you don't seem to have any on you. So can I help you with anything else?"

She- She doesn't know who I am?

"You don't know who I am do you?" Wow, I sound like a posh dickhead don't eye.

"Have you been here before? I do my best to remember all of our customers but I don't believe you have been here. I feel like I would remember you if you had" She says while adjusting her glasses.

I shake off my surprise and say "No I haven't. Ignore me. Would you mind if I just browse for a while? It's a bit crazy outside and I need somewhere quiet to breathe. I will buy something I swear"

"Not at all. Just let me know if you need any help finding something" She waves me off "I am going to keep reading my book though if you don't mind"

I nod and move toward the rows of books. I look around toward the back of the store for 30 minutes before making my way back toward the front.
