Hades/Persephone AU

AN: SO I am obsessed with Percy Jackson at the moment and was talking with my SO and I got the idea for this, Lena is Hades and Kara is Persephone and just enjoy 

Also short chapter cause I am trying to finish the book I am reading tonight and procrastination isn't helping.

3rd person POV

Lena hates the spring. It means being away from her wife for 6 months. 

It also means her wife is unsupervised on the surface for 6 months. Who knows what trouble she could get into especially while being pregnant. 

Thankfully the universe let Kara come back at night and spend the night here in hell but the world still needed spring so she was stuck in Hell with the souls and Cerberus. 

So Lena sturred up a plan and enlisted the help of one of her nieces Carol. Unfortunately, her father Zeus was a no it all idiot who could go fuck himself.

Thankfully Carol loved her wife and was more than willing to keep an eye on her very pregnant wife and whenever Lena's duties allowed she would join her wife on the surface. 

Till then- well let's just say Kara tends to bring home strays. Literally. 

As the queen of hell Kara can see lost and wandering souls and usually stops to help them to get on the path they need to go on. The issue with that is that she can see animal souls and ends up bringing them back to hell to have me turn into hell hounds and let them run around the palace. Which means on top of the literal three-story tall three-headed pitbull who quite literally guarded the gates of hell. That eats out of the palm of Kara's hand, demands daily belly rubs, and has a closet full of matching sweaters with Kara. 

Hell now had 100 or so hellhounds that helped guard the souls and just kept everyone in check. 

Her annoying nieces and nephews were obsessed with them and loved her wife so they spent time here whenever possible to see the dogs. 

With good relations and peace so far holding strong between all the gods allows demi-gods to roam between Olympus and Hell in general freely. 

Lena checks her watch and sees that it just struck 8 so Kara should be home any minute. 

"Babe!" Kara calls out. Lena follows her voice to the equivalent of their front door. 

"Hey babe how was the surface?" 

"It was good. So don't be mad at me" Kara says walking up and giving me a kiss. 

My smile drops as I say "Show me the dog" 

"What?????" 

"Where is the dog Kara" 

"How do you know I didn't go cheat on you" 

"Cause I know you darling. Where is the dog" 

"UGH" Kara huffs and walks back out the door and walks in with a little puppy that was missing an eye and a leg. "He was abused and froze to death in the winter and was still waiting as his soul for his owner to bring him food." 

I take him from Kara's arms and lead her to a couch so she can put her feet up and rest. 

I sit down with the dog in my lap and one tiny puppy yawn and I was in love with the dog and new we weren't letting him go anywhere.
