SHE IS WHO NOW PT 2

Kara's POV

"YOU ARE PLANNING TO TAKE OUR DAUGHTER WHERE?" Lena yells at me and I flinch back trying not to get overwhelmed by the volume.

"Mom! Volume! If that was hard for me in the other room you just defended Mama" Kieran says as she walks into the room glaring at her mother.

Lena takes a deep breath and lowers her volume as she says "Explain to me again, where and why you are taking our daughter off this planet?"

"Argo City which is literally just outside of Jupiter's Orbit." Lena gives me a wide-eyed look and I quickly add "It will literally take less time to fly there on Jo'nn spaceship than to fly to Ireland." That doesn't seem to help my case at all. I sigh and say "Look my moms want to meet their granddaughter and Eliza wants to see Argo City as well so we decided to go all together to visit my mom. Kieran will be able to learn about where we come from and where her powers come from. Lena, please let me show our daughter this part of who we are."

Lena glares at me for a full minute before turning away and walking towards her room.

My eyes widen and I walk after her with Kieran following behind me.

I walk into Lena's room to find her lugging a suitcase out of her closet and onto her bed.

"Lena, what are you doing?"

She ignores me and goes back into her closet grabbing clothing and putting it neatly into her suitcase before repeating the process several times. I try getting her to stop and respond but she just ignores me into finally she adds the last piece of clothing and slams shut her suitcase with a zip.

She spins to face Kieran and I with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes?"

"What are you doing Le?" I question once again.

"If you expect me to allow you to bring our daughter off of the planet I am coming with you."

"I-"

"Mama. I don't think you are going to change her mind."

"Kieran is right. Now when do we leave?"

"2 days from now if that works for you?" I question

I glance cautiously at Lena as we slowly start our descent down into Argo's orbit.

"I hate flying." Grumbles Lena under her breath as she swallows thickly.

She was currently looking a bit green from some of the turbulence we have faced in space.

Kieran smiles at her Mom as Eliza says "I am not the best flyer either. I sent Alura a message ahead of time she has some chicken soup on the stove to settle our stomachs."

Kieran grins up at her grandma as Lena says "Argo City has soup? I thought Krypton wouldn't have Earth food..."

"We didn't," I say while I walk up to the windshield and smile down at my home "Alura came to visit a couple of months ago and fell in love with the food so she went home recipes. Argo has the technology to fabricate food and it has become a big hit on Argo City."
