AN: This is kinda inspired by two things. One being the scene from the vampire diaries were the history teacher gets into a contest with Stefan and the other being a tic tok I saw that used a song from something's rotten which is an amazing musical that you should definitely check out and bonus I will be using supercorp as the characters so credit to supergirl.

AN p2: Also there is a twist about this story but I am not saying what rn but you will find out. And this may frustrate some people but there is going to be no angst or everything goes wrong in this chapter. Actually the opposite everything will go right so enjoy!!!

Kara's POV

I am sitting in history class as Mr. Edge drones on about dumb historical figures.

I tuck a strand of my brown hair behind my ear, (yes I am aware Kara is blonde it will get explained later) before I adjust the glass that I didn't need.

You may be wondering why I would wear glasses I don't need well it helps conceal my identity. See the thing is I am an alien more specifically I am Kryptonian. And with my cousin being a famous superhero, the family that adopted me after I crash-landed on Earth thought it would be smart to hide my identity better then my cousin does. He only uses glasses and it blows my mind every day that no one has figured out his secret identity.

My adoptive parents had half of a brain so they made these really technologically advanced glasses that change the color of my hair to brown as long as I am wearing them. I am a natural blonde but I still think I look good as a brunette.

Which didn't do much when I was 13 and didn't want to be a hero but now as a high school senior I started training to be a hero alongside my cousin and the extra layer to hide my identity helps a lot.

My thoughts are interrupted by my superhearing picking up on someone in the room grumbling swear words under her breath.

Mr. Edge- Miss Luthor do you have anything to say to the class?

I look around the room to find the girl responsible for the teacher's call out.

A raven haired girl with piercing green eyes looks up at the teacher and says 'Yes, in fact, I do Mr. Edge.'

Mr edge gives her a kinda disgusted grimace before saying 'and what do you have to say?'

The girl gives him a glare as she says 'Well you are talking about all of these historical figures like they were saints'

Mr. Edge- Well they were.

The very attractive girl scoffs at her teacher and says 'Yah right' under her breath.

Mr. Edge scoffs back and says 'These people founded our country. Do you support the English over America? Do you think we should go back into a tyranny Lena?' that must be the girl's name.

He was clearly trying to trap the raven-haired girl but it didn't work because she has a quick response 'Of course I don't want us back in a tyranny. And of course, I support the U.S. But I think you are not acknowledging the faults that the people who founded our country had.'

Mr. Edge- They started our country. What faults could they possibly have?

Lena- Well for starters more than half of them owned slaves.

Mr. Edges- Your point?

The whole class gasps at his statement. Before Lena scoffs yet again and says 'They owned and abused people. Some even raped their female slaves.'

Mr. Edge shrugs and says 'So? That was normal for the time.'

The whole class seemed to be getting more and more pissed off at our racist teacher but Lena is still the only person to talk.
