You know exactly what time it is. Welcome, cowards, to another week of the spectacular Hermittpad Recap! Much like that shady guy in the dark alley with a trench coat full of sketchy off-brand DVDs, we have so much to offer! From heart-breaking angst to melt-into-a-puddle fluff, this week has brought a wonderful selection!

Ariaquila has brought us an angsty oneshot titled "Striking Fear". Hels and EX argue and it gets slightly out of hand. Who knows what could happen when these two get into a fight? You probably should read this to find out, but if you don't want to then that's. Nice.

Still in need of some good ol' angst for the soul? Try "Soulmates" by WelshKitsune! A heart-wrenching Beetho oneshot where Etho mounts the loss of his soulmate and wonders what he could've done differently. It's pretty depressing stuff and you'll probably find yourself crying over it and then you'll realize your crying over Minecraft fanfiction and you might get sadder but still read it. I like my fanfiction with a sprinkle of teenage crisis.

Not to give you all whiplash, but "Orange Dinosaurs" by TheNerdyTurtle96 and fluffy oneshot! As part of a gift exchange, Ren gets False a wonderful pair (although some may say ridiculous) of - you guessed it - dinosaur socks! And although she pretends otherwise, she appreciates the gift! :)

"Stand by Me" is a short but sweet story by reagle13, in which Python solaces Grian as he confronts the reality of being a ghost. It's a very heartwarming hurt/comfort, and it ends with the two in a tight embrace. Poor Grian, he just wants to see his friends again :(

Hermitdere32 has graced the recap with more angst! In their new oneshot "Gone Away" Zedaph plans to run away after he feels as though Bdubs has replaced him. Cue the sadness as Team ZIT has begun to fall apart. Take a moment of silence for it, please.

AnonymousVeggieChip brings the readers some well-wanted Jleo in "Beautiful", where people scorn Cleo for being a zombie, and Joe helps her find the strength to stand up to them. And, as the name suggests, the piece is just as beautiful as the characters themselves! Cleo kinda hot though :weary:

All of these are fantastic reads, and I would recommend checking them out! Anyways, moving onto the- wE FORGOT THE MILESTONES D*MNIT-

Listen it's sunday night it's almost 11 pm i have to get this out so its not late i cant find more so ill just act like there was a ton of followers wow wasnt that great everyone comment about how epic it is ya know- **if you feel like it comment your milestones and we can put that in the next recap that would be pretty poggers ya know**

WOW that was so many milestones that's crazy! We are amazed! Woohoo!

Now, onto the announcements!

First off, we have a good few people coming back after a break! fissykitty45 has returned, Screaming-Constantly has broken down the door with their new xB plush (please pay for the door), and anonyrounmellow has also made a comeback! Welcome back, lads!

Our lord and savior _adrilia_ has proposed the idea of writing a Ranboo and Hermitcraft crossover fic after finishing up Crossroads, their current fanfiction! Sounds pretty cool, I can't wait to see Slenderman without the tentacles make an appearance with everyone's middle-aged dads who play video games together during family gatherings.

Something tells me that the last bit didn't make sense.

NinjaKitty1928 has also earned the role of the very first person of the week on MayaTheWatcher's wonderful conversations page! That's pretty cool even if I don't know what it means!

Speaking of like conversations page and stuff idk, Vestigially started an announcement chain in which participants can create extremely positive lists of the little itty bitty things in their life that bring them some joy! Continue the lists with your own figments of joy. I'll start one now!

Also, King (KingChocoFacialHair), is now going by King instead of Smutler. It's a great name and I'll miss it but the name sounds too much like Shrek and I don't want to accidentally perform identity theft on him again.

Also, King has been in the recap for a year! I started off on April 15th, 2020, and now it's April 18th, 2021. (I referred to myself with I and stuff cause King is writing this.)
