Hello Hermittpad! Welcome to another Hermittpad Recap! We're excited to share all the amazing updates for this week :D, and we'd also like to remind you that we're still looking for Archivers and Reporters! Archivers would assist HermittpadArchives with finding new books to recap, and Reporters
So without further ado, let's hop right into it!
First up, we have a new update from the recreation of Newsies (a Broadway Musical)! Hermitcraft | A fan made AU of "Newsies" by HermitCraftNewsies has everyone, including the hermit's persona's themselves, on their toes! Tensions are rising, and there's a hint of revolution in the air! Who knows what the outcome of their quarrel will be? (the authors, probably)
ThatOneWaterCat's Hermitcraft 8 Highschool AU, A Chaotic Camping Trip got another chapter this week! TFC comes to the rescue after Bdubs got injured while he and Keralis were lost in the woods. There's quite a bit of fluff in this chapter, and a bit of gay panic from Bdubs' side :)
Exile - A Prequel to Life Hearts by IndigoSilver08 also got updated this week. Set around fifty years before the events of Life Hearts, this story tells us about a time when Watchers and Admins still lived in relative peace. However, it won't last long! D: Whatever happened to destroy it? Only one way to find out; read!
Minding the trigger warnings at the beginning of the chapter, Masked Secrets - A HC Superhero AU by EmberDragon34 has received the 16th chapter! This is once again a Cub chapter! We love to see it! Another thing we love to see is Cub and Skizz discovering vital information!
If Beetho content is something you're looking for, why not check out the latest oneshot by microwaving_snickers? This royal au fic is titled Thousand Years and follows the two meeting at a special event! :)
The final chapter of Daisies by hermitdere32 dropped this week! For those unaware, it's a high school AU and a crossover with EVO! The triggers are listed at the beginning of the chapter so be mindful before following Hels and Taurtis' perspectives! As a special treat, the author includes an author's note at the end detailing the original plan for the book! :D
And They All Fall Down is the title of the latest chapter of Frostytales11's Hermitcraft Villain AU! Chaos ensues following the events of the last chapter, leaving many hermits in distress. :(
This week TinyAzalea101 has rewritten a songfic, King of New York for their book Hermitcraft s9 One Shots. It's a Newsies AU - as the song is from that musical - and ironically, mentions Aque Town, a feature from Season 7!
Hermit Dinner Party by Coltssfoot has yet another fun chapter! There's lots of mystery about, a little bit of injury sprinkled in, but what can't the hermits handle? Hopefully, they'll figure everything out just fine, which with no doubt will happen.
Incorrect hermitcraft quotes by RemiTheFrog is a must-read that's just been updated! Keep up those prompts! They're looking great.

whxmsii_ has announced her return and that the book Second Chance is getting a rewrite! The first chapter is already up so go check it out.
PancakeTheKat's book Ghosts' rewrite has been evoked!
MushroomFearie has decided to take a well-deserved break! We hope you get plenty of rest and relax that brain!
Meva400 has come to the decision to step away from Wattpad. You will be missed and we wish you luck on your future endeavors!

SwoopyMC is running "Scarian September" for MushroomFearie, go to their account info and find the book to sign up! Its title is the same as the event name :)
Speaking of events, guess what? We're starting an event soon! It's been a while, huh? The Canon Compliant Challenge will be held for an upcoming two weeks where you can either work alone or with up to two friends to collaborate on a fic! As the name suggests, the fic should be something that could realistically take place in a Hermitcraft episode! You don't have to include time lapses or the hermits talking to an audience, but essentially something like regular shenanigans that could transpire hypothetically next week! The recap will vote on a first, second, and third place and you as the readers can vote for a community favorite! More information will come soon with the drop of the contest book, just remember it's mainly for fun so don't stress too much over it! :D
