Hellllllo, everyone! Welcome back to another episode- COUGH OUCGH- I meaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan, chapter of the Hermittpad Recap!! We are just going to get into this quickly, as we have a good amount of things to report about from the vast and beautiful Hermittpad fandom.

First off, the Writing Championships has come up with a winning team, the Cyan Cultists! Good job to everyone who participated, it's great to watch everyone make such wonderful works. Now at the mention of writing, let's dig into all the newest books and oneshots from this week!

Starting us off, TwilightSaeij has begun their Bdoc oneshots book with an adorable cuddle fic that will surely comfort you after some heart-wrenching angst you may find.

... and look at that, we found some of that heart-wrenching angst!

In That_One_Girl_LOL's newest Hermitcraft Oneshot, "Fights Between Family" We get to see Grian with a different name being stuck in a world that only the most powerful of the world can reach, tormented by his terrible father for most of his life. At the same time, Xisuma finds an interesting thing within the code, and decides he and a few Hermits should investigate... that should go well!

BUT BUT wait wait don't worry don't worry, we have some more cuteness in a short story of Scar meeting his very much beloved cat, Jellie! This short story just heals my soul, clears the clouds from my head, and makes life a little brighter. Thank you Puppyox_Pup for this wonderful oneshot. (If you want to read it, check out their Hermitcraft Shorts (or something) book!

Following up on that fluff, monty_gaytor (i am in love with your username) has written an adorable Coffee Shop AU starring Bdubs and Etho! Watch as these two gays slowly fall in love, with an ending that will leave you giggling and kicking your feet and all that bs we do when we see two cuties falling in love.

Now here's a fun one, deconstructing one of (the best) headcanons of Doc being a creeper hybrid, but going in-depth with it!! GuuMiester delivers us a oneshot about Doc being frustrated with the little quirks that come with being a hybrid, and it all comes boiling to the surface when- oh no!- he comes across a cat while he's with his friends. Loved the unique take on this fun headcanon.

If you want some fun reads, we suggest you check out ThatOneWaterCat's Hermitcraft AU, "A Chaotic Camping Trip", which was updated to give us some more high school tomfoolery, and an ending that will leave you excited for the next chapter.

As always, we love incorrect quotes about the Hermits, and BlackMors_ does not disappoint! From shenanigans, contemplating life, and pure chaos, this can cheer you up from any devastating book.

Aaaand oh no oh god this oneshot made me sad at a few points. Nick3xtremeGaming asked the question "Vampire hermits", and delivered. This book will let you watch as one Hermit begins to feel groggy and soon finds himself out of control...

thathermitweirdo has slayed the day away once again, updating their Hermitcraft Watcher AU, "The Silver Sun", where we watch the Hermits make plans to defeat the Watcher. The only problem is that some of their allies are under their control, and they must find out how to subdue the Watcher without giving themselves away... sounds intriguing? GOOD! GO READ IT!!

Deal with the Devil is a wonderful special chapter delivered to us by I_love_Polar_Bears, in their book "I Looked Up to You, Why Did you Look Down on Me" (that is a TITLE right there folks /pos). Watch as revelations come out and people are hit with memories... I REALLY LIKE DOING THE DOT DOT DOT THING ill stop ill stop

Oh ho ho, IndigoSilver08 is giving us some beautiful crossover content, delivering us a new chapter via their Hermitcraft x Percy Jackson book, "Camp Hermit-Blood". Watch as some of the hermits race around with the main characters of the Percy Jackson series, and then wait for the next chapter when it ends on an ominous note.

MightysWolf has updated their one-shots book with "Heartbeat", where Scar, Pearl, Doc, and Impulse find out that not only Grian is missing, but the Entity is now scuttling around like the horrid abomination it is. But... where is the smell of iron coming from? And where is Grian? You'll have to read and find out! (TW for minor gore + body horror)

Now that we have finished up with the books, let's go over some quick announcements and all that.

MayatheWatcher has started a group of people sworn to protect Jellie from harm, called Jellie Protectors HQ. As firm believers in Jellie Supremacy, #PROTECTJELLIE!

The Hermittpad Community Discord has decided to close its Minecraft Server due to inactivity, but may reopen it if there is enough interest! Funnily enough. There is a remake of an old Hermittpad Minecraft server, named Wattcraft, made by jayjayStudios . This revamp can be found in a book named "Wattcraft 2", including a Discord server. Keep in mind this is a Java-only server, sorry to any bedrock players!
