"Well welcome to camp!" I looked around at everyone gathered here. It was kids who seemed around my age, younger, older, all shapes and sizes.

"You, are the daughter of Athena?" I turned and looked up at the heroine in front of me, Wonder Woman, and next to her was her sidekick, Wonder Girl.

"Yes, I am." I told her and she smiled.

"Daughter of a goddess?" I turned seeing a boy around my age.

"Robin, be nice." Another person showed up behind him, with a much more friendly aura compared to Robin.

"Anyway, everyone here was invited because you all want to be heroes, or you were chosen because we believe you could become a great hero." Wonder Woman began speaking, addressing the crowd of teenagers.

"We will be your mentors here, and we brought along these two so that you can talk with heroes your age." The man said. I looked over his clothing, seeing it mainly consist of black and blue. "For those who don't know, this is Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl." He introduced the two who just smiled down at us. "This is Robin, and I am Nightwing." he further introduced himself and the boy. "Wonder Woman and I may have to leave, but Wonder Girl and Robin will be here the entire 2 months."

After more talking, we were shown to our cabins and left to settle in. I didn't have much to unpack to start with so once I knew what my room was, I did a bit of exploring.

"I'd appreciate if you stop following me." I said and heard a soft thud as someone dropped down from the trees above. I looked a Robin behind me and he silently stared at me. "Are you trying to figure out what part of me is godly?" I asked him.

"Not in the slightest." he answered.

"Well, I can't manipulate water, wield thunder, or anything supernatural so sorry to disappoint." I told him.

"I expected that, Athena is goddess of  War and Wisdom." he told me.

"What about it?" I asked him.

"Let's spar." he told me.

"Spar?" I asked and he nodded. "Why?" I asked.

"To test my own skills." he said.

I quickly looked him over. He was obviously trained, and had a multitude of gadgets and weapons on him. "Doesn't seem like a fair fight to me." I said and he smiled.

"I'll fight fair, I promise." he said taking off the belt around his waist, and even unclipping his cape.

Our sparring sessions continued daily. Once in the morning and once in the evening. I've won more times, but not all. I usually lost in the mornings since Robin would want a fight at ungodly hours.

"Here." I handed him a water bottle.

"Thanks." he replied.

We had finished our morning sparing, and the sun was coming up. "Have you gained anything this past month?" I asked him.

"Yeah." he responded.

"Anything interesting?" I asked.

"That you are not a morning person." he mumbled.

"Is that your attempt at a joke?" I asked him, and he shrugged.

I drank my cold bottle of water, and we sat listening to the birds beginning to chirp and the horizon slowly lighting up.
